Clean, comfortable room with window overlooking front. Nice bathroom with great shower. Comfy bed, TV, coffee machine and aircon included. Plus a nice breakfast with a lovely chap cooking scrambled eggs to order. Location is only a 5 minute walk to the Valetta ferry which takes about 10 mins. The roof terrace was great to sit on when returning from a day out with a drink All the staff were so friendly and helpful. My husband was given a bottle of prosecco to celebrate a big birthday which was a lovely thought. Glad we picked this hotel as a great base for exploring the 3 Cities and Valetta.

Due to bad weather the pool was closed as they had to do some emergency work. But it was open on the last day of our visit once the work was done and the staff offered their apologies.

Staff were wonderful. Richard and Maureen are brilliant. Breakfast was excellent and there was a coffee machine in the bedroom..

Unfortunately, there were emergency repairs to the pool for the 10 days we were there, it was out of use. Three of the bedrooms were having a much needed redecoration, so lots of workmen starting early each morning. Not the fault of the hotel. The extra large bed was two single mattresses together with a quilt rolled up to fill the gap in the middle and a soft sponge topper which made the bed impossibly soft and squidgy. Pillows were rock hard. It's a lovely place, we were just unlucky with weather and circumstances at the Casa. I would recommend it to anyone

Everything was very good. A small but very cozy hotel, with a delicious breakfast, with a very friendly receptionist)

What a gem. We wanted authentic Malta & the unique personality of this hotel was perfect. Friendless of staff, clear instructions for getting access ( as we had a late arrival). It was a relaxing without staff disturbing you where you relaxing in your room. Location was good, easy access to the ferry to Valletta, walk to local restaurants, Fort St Angelo, & exploring the 3 cities.

Wonderful location in Cospicua. Being an old mansion, the hotel has a very particular charme, I really liked it. The room is exactly as described in the picture and includes a number of amenities like iron, coffee machine, etc. The staff was very helpful both for the check-in and to provide me with information; and of course also during breakfast.

The bed is a bit too soft and slightly noisy.

The hotel is very stylish and attractive, and is in a very good location. The rooftop terrace and pool are lovely and the staff are also very helpful.

Room and bed size are quite compact, and the room or common area would benefit from having a fridge for guests.

Marielle and Maureen are great hosts, the building is beautiful and clean! The breakfasts fresh and tasty. The location is great, Cospicua is well worth it and the hotel is close from the ferries and the busses. Make sure to ask Marielle where to get dinner as some places aren’t worth it but Marielle gave us amazing suggestions: Del Borgo, Enchantée, the Bleu House. Also, take a stroll into the streets of Cospicua, it is super charming, clean and safe.

The location is really good. The breakfast room was very nice and the staff very accommodating.

Well, the elevator is a retro fit. Not really anything they could do to make it better, but you have to be carful when you use it.

The major asset is Casa Birmulas unique atmosphere and its excellent and personal employees. The hotel staff fulfils your every wish and goes beyond what is to be expected. Especially Maureen is a big asset!

The double bed is very soft and shakes the other person whenever one moves - it was still ok, but not excellent.

A lovely boutique hotel with great rooms and awesome staff. The rooftop swimming pool and balcony is lovely place for an afternoon or early evening relaxation session. well worth a visit!

I would be picking fault you say there was anything I didn’t like about the hotel.

The room was clean, breakfast was more than I've expected, from fresh fruits, fresh eggs to pancakes and a big coffee variety. The staff it's really kind, on the roof it's a small swimming pool. And it was 24 h open. And the view was gorgeous. Near to the harbour, in 5 min shipping to Valetta, Busstations, Restaurants, Bars and so one. I enjoyed a lot my stay at Birmula.
