Great host/Venue

Our stay at the Haven Hall Hotel was simply wonderful. From the point of booking, the help and communication from David, the owner and manager, was faultless. He provided discounts for the ferries, recommendations for restaurants and places to visit around the island, and answered anything that we needed to know. The hotel itself has been fully refurbished only four years ago and it is pristine (do look through the albums of the building work in the living room - amazing!). The room was very comfortable and very clean, and we were very pleased to have the quiet air conditioning available too! The location is incredible, with far reaching views from the cliff top position, which meant breakfast, whether on the beautiful patio or in the restaurant, was breathtaking. We spent many hours relaxing by the poolside and in the garden, and even managed a run along the esplanade so that we didn't feel so guilty about the superb breakfast. The furnishing of the whole hotel is delightful, making it feel incredibly homely and comfortable, and David and Arielle(and Maizie the dog) would always be on hand to check how you are and chat about your day. I can't recommend this hotel enough - just book it!

A beautiful hotel renovated sympathetically and to a first class standard by David and Arielle the owners. The surrounding gardens are simply stunning, every inch planted thoughtfully and maintained impeccably. We stayed at Haven Hall for 2 days, with my parents for a long awaited trip away. It felt completely like we had been invited to stay in David and Arielle’s beautiful Isle of Wight home. Their personal service really stood out to us, from the very first moment we arrived David welcomed us from the driveway, giving us a tour of the grounds, a relaxed check-in process, we loved that it took place seated in the dining room rather than at a check-in desk and that David is genuinely interested in his guests, what brings them to the island and offering advice on things to do and places to see. At breakfast both mornings, again, David was interacting with his guests ensuring they had everything they needed. I have never experienced this in a hotel and it is something that makes Haven Hall incredibly special. We stayed in June ‘21 when covid was very much challenging us all. We were impressed that each room had a very thorough cleaning checklist for staff to manage the covid safety requirements, we felt the team were doing everything possible to keep their guests comfortable and safe, thank you. Kiara serving breakfast and drinks at the bar is smiley helpful and calm, nothing is too much trouble, her customer service is first class. When you book to stay at the Haven Hall, do take the time to see the renovation photo album in the drawing room, it is remarkable to see how the gardens were remodelled & Arielle’s furniture restoration. We really loved our stay, we are recommending Haven Hall to everyone and hope to return for another stay! Thank you David & Arielle.

First class hotel. In a stunning location Haven Hall is a class destination with good facilities. Only breakfast ( very good) available at time of booking but plenty of restaurants in the area. Couldn’t fault the hotel at all.. David is a very attentive owner and great with suggestions for places to see on the island. If you are looking for class on the IoW then this is the place.

Location lovely- very quiet - perfect . High quality produce in breakfast , attentive staff and beautiful breakfast room. The host , David , was attentive and knowledgeable and considerate. Staff reflected his lead . The suites , ours had a living room & bedroom were perfect , large , light and clean . Comfortable beds and well decorated place . Our suite had a perfectly stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook if you wanted to . The gardens are amazing, beautifully maintained, lots of flowers . There is a lovely pool that catches the sun and is warm water anyway.
