The room was smaller than I thought it would be. Shower was a bit fiddly to get a decent temperature. The toast at breakfast was rock hard

A fantastic and extremely welcoming hotel, all staff were friendly and helpful, even up to the point where they had to rearrange a couple of reserved tables to accommodate my family and I, overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would recommend The Church Inn to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable hotel in an excellent location

The Church Inn has character , atmosphere but not noisy , lovely staff , and our room was just what we needed and nice and clean . The bonus was a balcony and nice interesting view at the back

Central location. Excellent options for dining. Balcony gave great views of church and Shropshire hills. In room facilities of very high quality. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
Some people may find the close proximity to the church with its bells and clock off putting - especially if you like a Sunday lie on!

This is a lovely little place to stay, absolute perfect location, the staff are exceptional, very friendly and helpful.
It's clean and a lovely place to sit and have a drink in winter with the roaring fire

bring are friends with us on are second visit.
Standards was bove and beyond and still as excellent as are first trio.We all had a fabulous visit and are friends loved it to,we will be back to visit again.

Brilliant location fabulous hotel,breakfast choice was excellent and quality.Lovely touches in the room coffee machine toiletries.Staff was lovely friendly and very welcoming can't wait to return.

Brilliant location hence this is our 2nd stay here.
The mattress on the bed, room 1, is past its best. You end up rolling together into the middle.

All the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, as were the evening meals eaten at the pub too.

There isn't any parking o site but that is relatively minor as there is a car park nearby

Very clean and lovely helpful staff.
It was lovely having our own balcony.
The wooden bed frame was a little too big for the size of the room and we both banged our legs at the end of the bed as the frame is big. My partner cut his leg and both have a bruise. So it would be good to have a softer frame in such a small room.

The Church Inn was within walking distance of the railway station and only 2minutes from Ludlow Castle. My room was excellent as was the bathroom. It was a real treat to have a nespresso coffee machine with clear instructions as to how to use it. 😀
There was nothing to dislike about the Church Inn although there could have been more choice of breakfast cereal.

An historic building in the centre of town, beautifully kept. The staff were very professional and friendly. Good menu and food. Separate alternative entrance for resident guests.
My room would have benefitted from a fridge although ice and water were freely available from the bar. Air conditioning would have been a blessing during my stay which was during a mini heatwave.

Good location right in the centre of Ludlow. Room was lovely with lots of original features and an amazing bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were all really friendly. Lots of nice touches - coffee maker and pods, nice biscuits, lovely toiletries and a big walk-in shower.

Great location, centre of Ludlow,lovely room with balcony overlooking Church. Comfortable bed.
Excellent food and my husbands favourite beer Hobsons.
Everything was good only problem having to pay for parking but cheap car parks can be found.

It was in a lovely position right in the middle of Ludlow. The room was really spacious and spotlessly clean. The balcony overlooking the church is a real bonus and it was so nice to be able to sit outside relaxing overlooking the beautiful views.

the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable.
The breakfast was good but not excellent. This is the only thing that has kept our rating at good rather than excellent
