Loved the room and bath; loved the dining room-food was very good also.

Downstairs bar could be spruced up.

Excellent central location within city centre.

No complaints from us at all.

La chambre vieillotte, le lit mériterait un rajeunissement. Le bruit venant du pub ne permet pas d'aérer la chambre !

I can’t answer as our stay was a disappointment.

The badly stained bedding, the broken handle on the shower, the stain at the bottom of the toilet pedestal, the two screws left in the wall with a dirty mark showing the shape of the long mirror that used to hand there. Odd mugs, tired appearance of room. Attitude of original receptionist when I questioned we had the right room as it was not as described in booking. Attitude of lead receptionist on day of leaving when I insisted I had a refund for first night considering the situation. She wasn’t interested as my booking was through Booking.com so that was up to me to get in touch with them.

Breakfast, it was very much empty inte several pots.

Good location, friendly staff, good breakfast

The room could have been cleaner and it felt very unloved - broken lamp, broken kettle, curtains hanging off the rail. I couldn't open the curtains properly, but once I saw the view (a derelict yard) I wasn't too sorry.
