Excellent food breakfast and lunch. Friendly and well mannered staff. Lovely view. Relaxing experience all round.

Uitzicht vanuit hotelkamer over het wijdse meer. Mooi groot binnenzwembad en sauna faciliteiten.

De douchecabine is te klein. Niet storend maar wel gehorige kamers.

die Lage am See und Kanal und der Ausblick ist natürlich grandios

das Bauwerk und die Fassade sind schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber störend ist das natürlich nicht

Lage, Aussicht und Ruhe (Seeseite); Frühstück war ausreichend und gut, relativ schnelles WLAN tagesabhängig, waren 2 Nächte dort und zufrieden

Das Frühstück und Essen war sehr gut, Das Zimmer war sauber und hatte einen Balkon mit Blick auf den kleinen See. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Man kann daher sehr gute Spaziergänge/Wanderungen durchführen.

Das Zimmer war sehr veraltet und für 2 Personen viel zu klein. Es gab nicht ausreichend Platz für die Kleidung. Das Badezimmer ist für eine etwas korpulentere Person viel zu klein.

Hotel hat gerade Renovierungsarbeiten. Das Abendessen war sehr schlecht. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht. Besondere Wünsche wurden nicht erfüllt.

Nice pool and sauna! We enjoyed breakfast.

No aircondition in the room so slept with window open, which is normally fine, only there was a wedding with loud music until 2 am.. Also had to pay for an extra bed as the hotel expected our 7 year old to sleep in our double bed.. The pillows were awful. Dinner was a disappointment. When we tried to communicate this to the reception we were dismissed.

Bathrooms are dated. Not a very nice lounge to sit, relax, have a drink, paid parking for hotel guests, very loud wedding party in the hotel.

Front desk clark was very unhelpfull. We had to ask everything from the time table of the pool till the time table of the breakfast. And the parking ticket. He was very unwelcoming. Perhaps because we were Dutch. The WIFI was non existent and on asking for help the answer was "Ja ist kaput, ich kan dahrzu nichts tun" which is again rather rude and unhelpfull. Head waiter at dinner was very rude towards woman staff member and scolded her in feomt of quests. There was a 20 minute talk to the whole staff visable for evey staff member. This man was extremely stressed and hunted every quest visiting the dining room. That's why at our second night we decided to eat out. That means less income for the hotel. But all of this was nothing compaired to our last night sunday 28 november. We decided to end our stay with cocktails at the bar. Except the bar was closed, probably because of the soccer WK, but I think it's ridiculous to have every staff member to watch the football game and no staff at the front desk, a closed bar and also NO STAFF at the restaurant where the sign at the bar said we should go and would bw welcome. So no income there for the hotel as well. Than breakfast on monday's is without the possibility of cans of coffee. The cleaning crew is hunting you to leave the hotel (with an hour left to check out). All in all an experience we would not recommend to anyone we know. The hotel has a lot to learn yet as well as the staff. Only members of staff that we found helpfull were Wiktor and our table waiters on saturday at dinner. We shall not book again with this hotel. Price versus hospitality is absolutely not in balance. Good luck with getting the hotel run like a hotel.

1st visit 1982 and internally no change since then and the hotel overall looking a bit tired especially the bathrooms and needs some serious room upgrading and general TLC .However presentation ,service and restaurant food standard still quite excellent and our waiter was friendly and helpful .The quiet location beside the lake is lovely for walks and very relaxing and the spa , unchanged since the 70s , is still great with large pool and most enjoyable to spend time in .

Beer in restaurant not chilled . Bath/shower awkward access and stained grout . Towels have seen better days .

No lifts functioned, not even notices were made as it was defect. Then again, no service at all for breakfast for business guests.
