the reception staff were really friendly but the other staff were quite unfriendly. The bathroom area in our room was all glass and the glass door opened inwards which was quite dangerous and easy to bump into.

Friendly and professional welcome from staff at all times. The staff all spoke excellent English. The accommodation was spacious and classy, with a superb view over the harbour and bay and of the hills/mountains in the near background. The room's shower facility was superb. The hotel is located quite centrally in Kotor Old Town, although I would suggest that you use Google Maps (or similar) to locate the property before your arrival, because the streets in the Old Town can be a bit of a maze until you get more used to the area. Please also note that there is no taxi access direct to the hotel door because of the narrow pedestrian pathways in the Old Town. A very good breakfast, with a variety of options, was served in the Astoria restaurant which is accessed via an internal door from the reception area.

Perfect hotel. Great location. Perfect communication before arrival. Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. And a lovely touch of giving us a packed lunch on the morning of our departure as we had to leave before breakfast. Definitely recommend.

The pictures only tell part of the story. Yes it is a beautiful hotel however the hotel staff make this place special. I want to revisit Kotor on the basis of the service at this wonderful hotel. The breakfast too was freshly made and fabulous quality. Top marks

apparently there was very little choice and the price was not very good for what was offered the staff was not polite

Great location and very nice staff!

There's a club nearby which doesn't close until 1am every night during my stay..which means can only really fall asleep after 1am earplugs didn't help much.

bed linen needs renewing. pillow had 2 holes in it and bed sheet had 1 hole in it.

The location, the views of the sea, the rooms are huge! Love this hotel. It's perfect for exploring Old Town, and hikes to the top of the mountain. Kotor is a very special place. You are very centrally located to everything! I'll definitely stay here again! The free breakfast is outstanding.

They did not make up our room due to miscommunication. Everything else was great!
