The location was incredible, the staff were lovely, it was super clean and the breakfast was great. The perfect place to stay.

Our bathroom was very small and we had to step in the shower in order to close the door properly.

Breakfast was amazing & varied so we could chose a bit of lots different food, all cooked very well. Location was fantastic within walking distance of everything. Staff were all friendly & very helpful.

Location was perfect. Breakfast was varied and ample. We LOVED the comfort of our bed and pillows! Staff was superb and very friendly. We needed help with a private water taxi which was booked for us, and since we left early morning, we were sent off with huge breakfast boxes, which was fabulous

the location is great, easy to get from the water bus and just a few minutes away from the most famous plaza. Room is a bit small but very comfortable and clean.

1-Unfortunately, we had to walk about 30 min from the train station at Santa Lúcia to the hotel Serenissima because the vaporetto wasn’t working the day we arrived. The hotel never told us about other options on how to get there in case the vaporetto wasn’t working. We arrived at the hotel and told the host what had happened. He put us all the way on the 3rd floor. There is no elevator so we walked all the way up with our suitcases. We also had to bring them all the way down at check out. We were never told if we could have our suitcases taken down by one of their workers. 2-The air conditioning didn’t cool enough and they shut it off the a/c downstairs when you leave the hotel. When we arrived back at night our bedroom was very hot. I called the front desk and they turned it back on. I woke up really hot around 3:00am and noticed the air conditioning had been turned off while we were sleeping. I called downstairs and they said they had turned it off. So, apparently they decide when your body feels cool and shut it off. I travel extensively and never experienced that at a hotel before. 3-The bedroom and bathroom are extremely small. 4-Breakfast: you should have more options for those who don’t eat pork. Lots of different sandwiches with ham. 5-Only two little pillows. I guess we could’ve asked for extra pillows but we arrived late.

Great location, great breakfast, try the ham & cheese toasties they are tasty! lovely clean room ,very professional and welcoming staff . Large comfortable bed and pillow. Lovely decorated bed and dressing table . Nice shower . Shutters on window . Toilet roll added each day if running low.

Breakfast was extensive and delicious. The location is wonderful- very central for exploring central Venice.

Maybe tea and coffee making facilities available.

The bed was a little uncomfortable but that's just personal preference . Honestly for the price and location you won't get better . The staff all went above and beyond

Be prepared: It's an old house, the rooms are small, there is no elevator - but all this did not matter to me because the situation in the middle of the city is great, everything is superclean, the breakfast is not bad at all. What touched me most are the friendliest persons in the world working at the reception desk. You are adorable!

No lift as it is an ancient building and they aren't allowed to put one in. However staff assured us they would assist with luggage if needed.

Great location in the middle of the city! Two minutes to San Marco Square, 5 minutes to the Rialto Bridge..the centrum of night life. Nice, clean hotel with very kindly staff. Great breakfast-buffet including crosaints, toast, fruit, yogurt, cake..scrambled eggs with bacon on request, great coffee! We stayed on the third floor, the room was clean and cozy with air conditioning (a bit noisy at night). We were very satisfied.

A bit cold watter at night, but we were there in summer so it was good.

Location! Perfectly situated in a street just a min from the main square with lots of shops and places to eat on every street turning. We met people from our flight on the same strip and had a fab time. Breakfast for a 2* hotel was fab! The breakfast staff were fab so lovely and prepared us vegetarian food separately! Fresh juices too most places even 4 star don't offer half the things they do! The lady who checked us in was fab, the best team member by a mile! If she's not the manager make her!

Some staff didn't speak english, some can't leave front desk, no lift or fridge or safe in room which i'd expect. We were on the 4th floor and had to walk up and down and it was painful after walking outside in the blazing heat all day! No iron available. When asking at front desk was told I had to wait till after breakfast after 11 and use it in the breakfast room, do they think I'm going to waste half the day waiting for an iron? I had to buy new clothes luckily there was a h&m round the corner! When asking if they can help us take our bags down on check out as we were on the top floor they said they couldn't leave the front desk incase customers came, nobody was there when we left so not sure why they didn't offer. The shower was silly, I'm 5ft 2 and small and could barely fit, I don't know how regular sized people fit. There was no wrapped soap just filled liquid soap fitted the wrong way and not bodywash or shampoo just a mystery liquid for everything and tiny toilet roll luckily the refil cart was outside our room. Annoying there was no safe as we had to leave the key at the front desk daily so didn't feel safe. No fridge and in 40 degree heat you want to keep cold drinks rather than walking up and down 4 floors daily and having hot drinks by the time you reach the room. The lady at check in did say we could put drinks in their fridge but again would have to go up and down 4 floors and in the PM there were non english speaking staff.
