The stairs to enter the apartment were rather steep and there was some noise from the street during early morning

We loved everything, but specifically the location, expresso machine (stocked with pods), beautiful bathroom, air conditioning. Did I mention location? Also, the host was wonderful and responsive. Lots of nice small touches.

Its almost impossible to find the property. There's not even a number on the building to confirm that you're at the right address. Upon arrival, after 10 hours on the roads, the landlord just lunges at us, being mad that i wasn't on time for early check in (due to multiple delays beyond my control) saying she waited on the street since 4 am (very believable story) and insisting on me paying early check in fee, even though we checked in at 8 AM - the morning AFTER I already paid for a night of an unused staying. Eventually she dropped the early check in fee, but TOOK A PHOTO of my credit card to pay the city tax. I was so tired and it happened so fast, i couldn't even respond, but it seems very off and rude. Writing to 'Booking', they said its not allowed to take photos of a credit card, but it still happened. On top of that, it doesn't mention that the house is located right above a restaurant and in the back of other restaurants, so from 8 AM to 10 PM there's no chance of resting, Its super loud from guests, workers, suppliers, rattling plates, and you can actually hear what's going on in the restaurant kitchen/s. At the house itself, The kitchen is way too small to cook anything proper, and The internet signal doesn't reach the bedrooms, so you must be stuck at the living room to use it. Also, there's some sort of city service room on ground floor, that is being opened and slammed 20 times a day, both front door and that room door. Just a nightmare. I would never ever recommend this plays. I traveled over 20 cities in the world and i never came across such a gap between what the place implies to be and what it actually is, and such a rude behavior, being so unwelcoming and impatient for guests/costumers. Do NOT go there.

The location was a stones throw from Piazza San Marco . It was very quiet day and night even though there was a lovely restaurant at the door step. The bed was very comfortable. It is the perfect location to see all that Venice has to offer

The apartment was a really good size however the air conditioning units were very ineffective in cooling down the space.

We liked tso much everything! The place, the location, the renovated fully equipped facility with style!

The apartment is in an excellent location, and Paola was very helpful and explained any questions we had . Was great for our family of four!

We had an absolutely brilliant stay at Residenza Ducato Corte Contarina. It was very easy to communicate with host Paola prior and during our stay. We arrived by train and Paola was kind enough to meet us at the Rialto bridge and walk us to the apartment. She went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible and had many good tips. The apartment is spacious, clean and well maintained. Two large bedrooms, a cosy living room, a nice bathroom and a well equipped small kitchen. The big attraction was of course its fabulous location, literally less than one minute walk from the Plaza San Marco. Lots of other attractions within walking distance and many nice restaurants and shops as well.

Visitors should be aware that the stairs to the apartment are a bit steep, but wide enough to be comfortable.

The location is absolutely perfect for visiting Venice. The apartment is spacious and nicely decorated. It has all the things you need in an apartment. The checkin was very smooth. Paola waited for us at Rialto Bridge and walked us to the apartment giving us information and tips for our stay in Venice. She is very nice, friendly and helpful.

The WLAN is very weak and the internet speed very slow. For example there is no WLAN signal in the bedroom. The door at the shower was broken and could not be closed, you have to be really careful not to flood the bathroom.

Book this place if you are visiting Venice! It's really an excellent place to stay. In the heart of Venice, close to all major locations. Very stylish, modern and clean apartment with all appliances and everything you could possibly need. Paola was so friendly and really ensured all our needs were met. We've also got an upgrade for even a better room, which was so nice. We really enjoyed our stay!
