We spent five days at Darlene's Quarterdeck Cottage and we couldn't have been happier with the accommodations! Very clean, was equipped with everything we could have asked for AND the decor, mid century modern, was outstanding.
We will be back again in February!

The cottage is a very comfortable home from which to explore Pine Island's charm and scenic beauty. And be sure to sample the amazing fresh mangos!

We greatly enjoyed our stay, the area is quite and the place is clean and cozy. Really enjoyed sitting outside under the tree out front at night.

This rental had all the comforts of home with lots of charm. It is an easy drive to St James, Matlacha, Fort Meyer, or even Sanibel Island. Or just hang out at Bookelia and enjoy a meal down at Captain Con’s on the marina. We had a wonderful stay and definitely look forward to booking again.

We had a relaxing week at Darlene’s cottage. It was a great place, clean and well equipped and an awesome location, near the canal. The bed is comfortable, living area is spacious, kitchen is remodeled. Nice to come home to this cute place after our adventurous days.
We kayaked almost every day and enjoyed the dolphins, pelicans, fishing, and beauty of this special island.

I planned this trip very last minute and Darlene was available immediately to answer several questions I had about bringing a boat. The place easily accommodated truck and trailer and another car. We also has access to her dock across the street at NO extra charge which was about as convenient as it gets to hop on and off easily. There is also a VERY nice boat ramp around the corner called Lavender’s Landing. You literally can not be in a better spot to reach great fishing. Boca Grande Pass, Captiva, Pine Island Sound, etc. Thank you Darlene, it was a wonderful stay. We will definitely return!!

We had an absolutely great stay here! Very cozy home with everything you might need. Very clean and well kept with the cutest style throughout. The property manager was very easily reached for any questions I had. We would stay here again with our family, we felt very much at home here!!

My family and I spent the long weekend here and really enjoyed it. The house was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Riding the golf cart around the neighborhood was a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend this place!

What an amazing place. The cottage was so relaxing and we enjoyed that it was in a slow paced area that allowed us to just disconnect and have some much needed down time. Loved our stay and look forward to coming back the next time we need to recharge.

Honestly, I'm not certain where to begin! Pine Island offers a slice of old Florida at its finest. Location, location, location... especially if you want close proximity to the out islands, world-class fishing and cruising, dockside dining, and history at every turn. I rented this cottage (Quarterdeck Cottage) for friends and Waterside Cottage across the street for us. I'm a local captain and would easily come here over and over again. The host, Darlene, is a diamond in the rough re: service. The interior is even better than the pictures! A+ in my book. Quick, book this place. :) Whether you're a boater or not, don't miss Jug Creek Marina. The marina and fish house is the perfect place for fuel, bait, and even a fried mullet plate and cold beverage. Enjoy your stay.

We were not sure about staying on Pine Island but we wanted to have our boat docked where we were staying and the Quarterdeck Cottage offered the best access to the keys and islands north of the Caloosahatchee River and met all of our requirements. The Cottage is excellent and full of features, the internet is excellent (important to us), the bedding and conveniences were very good, and the response of management was as good as it gets.

We had to do a “stay-cation” because of Covid and this was last minute, I looked at this cottage and thought it was adorable, it lived up to our expectations, great eclectic decorations and it even smelled good when we walked in! Hostess is attentive but NOT overbearing, highly recommend.......

Our rental was unusually clean, spacious, and kitchen was well stocked. Fresh fish market and restaurants within a mile or two. Bring your bug spray if you want to be outdoors. Darlene (owner) is "attention to detail" and fully accommodated anything that may have arisen during out stay. we highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed our stay. Darlene was a great hostess and she was always available to answer any questions we had. The neighborhood was quiet and the cottage was beautiful and comfortable. I wish we could have stayed an extra night. We will return again.

This was our first time to Pine Island. We had a blast fishing, riding bikes,, and using the golf cart.The house was very comfortable, and made a good place to rest and escape from the heat.Just what the doctor ordered for a long weekend.
