Third stay at this property so that speaks volumes, great location and a short stroll into the centre, clean, well appointed and always sleep well

Despite the restrictions about breakfast, which I was advised of and knew well in advance, the breakfast was simply delicious. In fact there was that much of it, it made up my lunch and afternoon snack, for the hills. A truly cosy, warm, well equipped, spotlessly clean experience. The bed was comfy too.

Just a personal view, but the room was so well furnished and appointed it lacked a chair. Apart from a small drawer cabinet there was nothing to sit on other than the bed.

We booked a room including breakfast, and the day we arrived the host messaged us saying there wouldn’t be a cooked breakfast available for us (only on tray in room), and offered a 20% refund for this. I accepted, however, I have still not received my 20% refund despite reminding the host multiple times. They gave me 5% after the first reminder and no reply since. Further, my friend has a dairy intolerance and the bread and pastry for her breakfast still included dairy (even though they said it didn’t). All in all a very disappointing stay.

No heart, feels soulless, strange communication

The breakfast was great and even without the ability to serve the suggested hot breakie it was very fresh and satisfying and definitely enough!

Late message meant we weren't too sure of which was our room and began into the wrong one but it wasn't a big issue and easily rectified without a problem. Was a bit easy to drive past as signage was not that clear from our direction and had to ask in town when we missed the place and got to there. Improved signage would have helped if possible please.

The boss had sold our room when we came - at 9 pm!!

We had a very comfortable stay here. The rooms were very quiet and appeared to have been recently refurbished - the shower room in particular was lovely and had an excellent jet shower. There were no cooked breakfasts available at the time of our stay but we knew this in advance and the continental-style breakfast (which did in fact include a hot breakfast roll of our choice) was very nice and delivered to our room. The location was perfect for us - right on the edge of the village and extremely quiet but an easy walk from the centre of the village. Good on-site parking too.

The outside of the property is a bit tired and slightly neglected looking, which is a shame as it doesn’t do justice to the much better presented interior.
