Lugar perfecto, alejado para poder disfrutar el cielo y las auroras, además de tener un hot tub para terminar el día ahí. La cabaña estaba muy bien equipada. Muy buena ubicación, cerca de puntos imperdibles

Tuvimos problema regulando la calefacción central. Además el último día nos quedamos sin agua caliente

Da wurde schon lange nicht mehr grundgereinigt, das wäre mal wieder nötig. Überall alte Haare und Staub, auch die Möbel im Wohnzimmer müssten mal wieder gereinigt werden. Die Betten waren unbequem, es gab weder Salz noch Öl in der Küche. Die Aussicht ist auf andere Hütten

Nice cottage in cosy surroundings. Near the beautifull lake.

quiet and close to major sights of the golden circle. hot tub was nice

oh my god, mice on the roof. could not sleep. very dated cabin. very small bedrooms. front door lock is very dangerous. self locking. couldn’t leave open when you’re in the hot tub due to mice. be very careful. nightmares of being locked out after hot tub

The cabin has everything necessary plus the excellent bonus of a nice hot tub. We loved it. They do require full cleaning by the guests at the end: bathroom, floor, etc. This seems to be typical in Iceland but it's not in the US, so be advised.

We loved this little place except for one thing: it's in a gated community. When first entering and then leaving at the end of the stay, a visitor doesn't have the gate opener and has to call the owner to open the gate. If, like us, you don't have reliable phone access in Iceland, that can be a problem. I was using Google voice to make calls over our wifi with mixed results and when we were leaving it cut out. We were late for the airport and couldn't get out. We ended up having to knock on a stranger's door to ask her to open the gate for us. My daughter had a hard time sleeping on the bunk bed, which had a very thin mattress such that the bed slats hurt her. The two double beds were very nice.

it’s well situated and cozy. it’s definitely a family’s summer home rather than just a rental. that’s nice because it feels like you can experience a true Icelanders summer holiday

it is old and to be honest needed a bit of a higher standard of cleaning to rent out.
