Spacious rooms

The hotel has seen better days, our room showed a lot of signs of wear despite being clean and comfortable. The main issue with our stay was that despite advertising a free airport shuttle, we were told that it was actually not available and replaced with an on-call taxi that charged 250 MXN per way. Coming and going from the airport added up to 30% of the room rate, which is not ideal.

Overall poor experience. Staff is not really helpful Food is awful, only oily stuff being served at restaurant Breakfast logistics is awful, they put one person to serve everybody as covid regulations dictates but it becomes a mess where everybody serves themselfes with no control at all Gym is small and does not respect any covid regulation of top amount of people onboard In summary, I was surprised by how poorly this hotel performs specially regarding covid regulations, I cannot believe that this is Marriot standard. Air conditioning systems in the hotel are in bad shape including the one in the room and in the gym, apparently they do not have any maintenance. Lighting in the room is among the worst I have seen in a hotel I went to this hotel because of its good reviews. I believe that the people who wrote those have not stayed anywhere else in Villahermosa, this is by far one of the worst hotels in the city. Avoid! The fact that it is a cheap hotel does not mean that it should not respect basic covid regulation rules in Mexico.
