We liked the location. More family centric and quiet. We didn't like the check in process. $30x2 for a resort fee and we didn't use any amenities. $40 to valet park or self park for one night numerous extra taxes for that location. Last, for a penthouse location, it took multiple doors to have to open with a key faub and extra time to get into 1 of 3 small elevators the building had. There were also NO shampoos or soaps or conditioners for the bathroom. That is such a small detail, but make sure you bring yours or buy some. Not a huge cost, just very inconvenient to not have for a penthouse on the beach & all the extras we were paying for.

This os a great condo. I thought I would have an ocean view but the balcony received the afternoon sunshine so that was nice. Pool was fantastic and rite on beach.

This was a great condo. We were two adults and the place had ample space. All we needed was there. Directly on the beach ! I would go back anytime.

The apartment was very clean & had all our basic needs. Its in a very central location. We arrived after check-in. The admistrator was very accommodating to our late arrival with having everything set up for us. The beds were comfortable. The view was great being on the top floor. Laundry room was clean. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for our 1st vrbo experience.

The property was perfect. The condo is right on the beach on the top floor of the building. The checkin process was quick and easy. There were beach chairs and umbrellas provided, along with beach towels and a small cooler. The beds are comfortable. Everything you need for a beach vacation. We would come back!

Returning family to tides, love the pools and access to beach. Cafe and small shop on premises is a bonus. Beds and furniture are comfortable. Thank you for hosting.

Condo nice and clean, beautiful view of the intracoastal. The grounds were amazing, pool area was very nice with lots of palm trees and greenery. Very well maintained property. We enjoyed it so much that we booked it again for next year :) Thank you Marcello!

This condo is very nice, it's in a great location. Just pack all your toiletries. Host was very responsive to all our questions.

Please learn from our mistake and do your research on this apartment building on other websites besides just the reviews in VRBO. I have no idea how the rating is as high as it is. There are two main statements in the description that I take as false. First, the “fully renovated” statement may be true, but it must have been years ago. The apartment is worn down already. Second, this is absolutely not a luxury condominium. If this building wasn’t located on the beach it would be considered a higher end slum building. It is heading that way. When we arrived, we were harnessed by the teen security guards who were playing ping pong with the permanent tenets. We also were overpowered by a massive amount of frebreeze. The apartment had just been cleaned so we left to eat thinking it would fade out. When we got back we found out what they were trying to cover up. Apparently the neighbor heavily partakes in a medicine that is smoked and has a potent smell. The smell was so overpowering and the sheets looked so nasty that we called it quits. We packed up the family and left. The in-between person didn’t believe it was there concern that it smelled. It is very clear after the fact this is a classic case of price is too good to be true.

The location was great, exactly what we where looking for. Would have liked to look out at the ocean. But in all the intercoastal and the night lights where beautiful. My family enjoyed it very much. When we travel to S. Florida to visit family and sight see. We definitely will look you up on our next stay.

Great place to stay. My one and only complaint was there wasn’t any washcloths. Plenty of towels and linens. Very clean and safe environment.

Unit was clean, decor was very plain, kitchen cabinets had issues like loose doors, peeling veneer. Only one trash bag provided, no paper towels, no washclothes. Don't expect it to be like a hotel room with toiletries and other amenities. Host was nice enough but seemed in a rush to get us through a process that was not well explained. An email clearly explaining the check in process would have been helpful. Fee charged for "resort use", but only one key fob given for 2 people. The office to get this fob had limited hours making a late arrival, or early departure difficult. Lobby very plain, not inviting. The rest of the lower level reminded me of the back areas in a cruise ship that are only seen during certain circumstances, warehouse like and gloomy. List of available TV channels would be helpful. Outside pool deck is nice, with nice landscaping. VRBO ads make their listings look like a happy home away from home. This place did not feel welcoming, but just somewhere that an LLC purchased to make money in the cheapest way they can. A regular hotel would have felt more homey. We will not return.

The condo was nice and clean exactly as described in the ad. Marcelo’s helped us with the very easy check in and always able to respond to our questions. No complaints at all and I would highly recommend this place. We had a great vacation with lots a fun at the beach and pool.

We had a wonderful stay!!! The location is absolutely incredible and we loved the view. The mask mandate was annoying because we thought Florida was mask free but we understood. The only complaint we had was no dish washer soap to do dishes, at least one load, a hot pad in the kitchen would’ve been handy and an upgrade to the beach chairs is definitely needed….we spent a lot of money renting beach chairs, it just would’ve been appreciated! All in all it was a perfect, relaxing, glorious week with my bestie! Thank you

the place is in a good location and that is clearly its main advantage. it is really located right in the middle of hollywood so most destinations are done quickly by car. I think the main thing that bothered us was the lack of cleanliness the bedding is stained in multiple places which raised questions as to whether these are permanent stains or is that the sheets have not been washed . it is a bit the same with the towels which are stained in multiple places one point we decided to wash them by ourselves because we had doubts about the cleanliness of those (we also clean the bedding). clearly when they passes the sweeper none of the furniture is passed since there is a lot of dirt under the sofa or the beds. cleanliness is very important for us so we had to clean up and clean several counters and furniture when we arrived. in addition, the equipment provided in the kitchen is minimal but allows cooking to a minimum. I admit that in the description when I had read that beach chairs was included, I expected something other than a completely torn children's camping chair. however, the parasol provided works well and is in good condition. Overall, for the price, the place is okay. the place was nicely located, with an outdoor pool and an easy acces to the beach. I think of they put a little more effort in the cleaning it will be better.

We loved our family vacation! The hosts were wonderful. The pool area is absolutely beautiful with the direct access to the beach. Walking distance to convenience store, and restaurants. A 10-15 walk over a bridge on the inter coastal to access to grocery store and many more restaurants. We did not need a car. Short Uber ride to the awesome Hollywood Beach boardwalk. We will be coming back again!

It was a very good experience . Great building on the beach !!

First of all, I would like to mention that the owner was always very attentive and kind with us. However, I would say that it was the only thing really positive in our stay! We could not have been worse welcomed than we were. After 12 hour of ride, a very unkind and rude lady was waiting for us. It looks like she was unhappy because we arrived after 5 pm( even though we let her know it would happen the prior day). The owner contacted another lady to help us from that moment on. The check in process was chaotic! We had to do it the next day and we spent two days ( that’s correct) to finish it because, according to the administration, the system was out! For this reason, we had no access to the beach in front of the building for two days. The other guests opened the gate for us when we wanted to go out or in! The apartment is ok! It should have been cleaned better. We found a blood stain in one of the bed sheet which was horrible! Also, we didn’t sleep well on that very soft bed ( this is our particular opinion) so we ended up buying a mattress in Walmart to better rest. Other than that, the view is good! Also, the apartment is well located!

The apartment was just right for our family. Right on the beach and everything provided fir going down and enjoying the beach. Check in was nice and smooth. Marcelo and his staff were very accommodating. We had a great time and would highly recommend this place.

I loved the Penthouse Suite, it was decorated beautiful and very spacious. The pool was beautiful & warm and the beach was awesome. A couple of things, they did repair the air conditioner while we were there, which set us back an hour because we had a late evening & we're just starting to take showers. We were allowed to check out a half hour late to make up for it, which I did appreciate. There were additional charges that were collected upon arrival, I didn't care for that, I'd prefer to have the whole bill tabulated , and taken care of before I arrive.

My son and his family were on another floor as well as my daughter and her family. The pool was great for the grandkids and the beach was nice. Everything was in close proximity of the property. Suggestion, if you could give guests at least two trash bags since we are responsible for dumping the trash and an xtra roll of toilet paper until they can get to a store. We had half a roll upon check in. Lilliana was very nice and helpful when the tv was not working. She had it fixed. Everything went smoothly. I will stay again and will recommend your property. The room looks just like the photo. Thank you

We are previous residents of the Hollywood/Hallandale area and are also very familiar with the Tides buildings. We had a nice stay at this location and for the price and short timeframe we were working with, it was a great deal for a weekend trip. While the penthouse does not face the ocean, it does have a nice intercoastal view from the highest floor. No traffic noise. Yes, the check in process is a little more than some people will be used to, but it's manageable. $50 per week, charged upon arrival, for parking regardless of how short your stay is (we were only there 2 nights). $20 deposit in cash only for a parking hang tag for your vehicle. You get that back if you turn the tag back in at the end of your stay. They will not accept card. Also there is a $20 fee, nonrefundable, for a key fob for pool and most door and gate access for every 2 adults. No avoiding that. Can't get through lobby doors without it. So there is some paperwork to fill out when you get there, but it's ok. The market is in the other building, just a short walk away. The best coffee and Argentinian food is across the street at Patagonia. Excellent and recommended. We look forward to considering this location again in the future.

Very nice condo. Great swimmimg pool and right on the ocean! Used Lyft to get aroung and it worked out really well! Marcello was the best! Absolutely helpful and responded within minutes. He went above and beyond the call of duty!
