Stayed for a couple of nights and really enjoyed the view and location of this property. Has everything we needed and Paul was great. The free parking is a nice park as parking across the street is almost $70 a night and there are convenient places to eat on property.

We were incredibly happy with our stay. The condo was, nice, clean, and roomy. Plenty comfortable. Great view of the ocean, beach, lagoon, and marina. Property manager was quick to respond. Parking space was convenient to the elevator. Location of the property was great. There are multiple restaurants and a store on the lobby level of the property that are super convenient. Poke shop and coffee shop were great. I would avoid Cinammon’s though. That was basically our only complaint about our stay and it had nothing to do with the condo, obviously. I would stay here again if we ever came back to Honolulu.

The pictures that we viewed online were exactly like the apt/codo. The location was fantastic, could walk long way on the beach or around the town. There were lots of options within walking distance for eating or going for drinks. Lots of activity to watch sitting out on the deck. Loved the open feeling with all of the windows, this was awesome! Paul the manager of the apartment was fantastic!!! Loved the lagoon area and the availability to rent paddle boards, surfboards etc. The Aqua cycling was a blast, had never done this before.

Chairs, umbrellas, beach towels,snorkeling equipment were provided. A dedicated parking place was an advantage. Opportunities for improvement: please update furniture; an old chair broke while my husband was sitting on it. Please fix sliding door in Master bedroom as noted in previous reviews. We had very little hot water for bathing most days. Over all, these small fixes could entice us to return.

We have stayed in the North Shore several times but this was our first time staying in town. The condo was very clean and the property manager did an amazing job communicating with me. We had no issues while we stayed here. It is in a good location and there is plenty to do and see!

Reviewer Comments: We woud have liked the drapes pulled and some fresh air let in prior to us arriving at the condo. Oven was not usable as a knob was missing, Oven is dated. A number of places where paint touch up needs to be done. no ice trays in the freezer. Paul and his trainee were made aware. However he did not address these issues. He did get a large bag of ice for us.The couch and chair/ottoman need a shampoo.We mention these things because we paid a VERY large sum to stay here for 2 months and with that expected more. Very noisy loud car exhaust. Rediculously loud motorcycles at all times of the day and night. 12 hours a day of the constant and incessant screaming from the Hiltons Kiddie grotto. They are VERY poor neighbors!!The good stuff. Spectacular views comfortable beds. Clean condo and very roomy. Paul was very helpful starting us off.We will not be rent this condo again because of the noise and price.

We stayed in this property for 6 days. The unit is even prettier in person and the location is fantastic. We had an issue or two, but the property manager was quick to respond and issues were addressed right away. Highly recommend.

The air conditioner unit didn't work when we go there. Property Mgr scheduled someone the next day, but then it started to work. The last day of our weeks stay it stopped again. But overall, we would highly recommend! But bring you own coffee filters.

This apartment was exactly as shown in the pictures, it’s showing it’s age in some aspects but has been well maintained. It had plenty of room for our family of 5 adults, was well stocked with basic essentials such as kitchen utensils, toilet rolls, towels and beach accessories and was very clean and comfortable. We liked the location which was fairly quiet but had plenty of eating options close by and within easy walking distance from the main Waikiki buzz and also a large shopping mall - top tip if you’re visiting from the UK for the first time like we were, food essentials such as bread, milk, breakfast cereal and coffee are very expensive in the nearby convenience ABC stores but are much cheaper in the Target in the mall and the savings easily cover the cost of an Uber/Lyft to get it back to the apartment. The Ilikai has some evening entertainment a couple of times during the week and is also perfectly located for the Friday night fireworks at the Hilton lagoon next door. These can be viewed from the balcony but we went down to the lagoon edge to watch as there’s a bit of a party atmosphere in the lead up with families with picnics, hot dog stalls and the shrimp van (which is great!) stays open late. The view over the marina and lagoon from the front balcony is lovely at all times of the day but especially at sunset. We would definitely recommend this apartment to family or friends visiting Waikiki.

Pros- Close to shops, restaurants, and beach. Kitchen is fully stocked, plenty of room for family of 4 to spread out, beach stuff provided such as umbrellas, chairs, beach toys, and snorkel masks, great view from both balconies, parking included with this until Cons- some updates need done, living room furniture is worn out as well as patio furniture, needs a deep cleaning especially vents and bed skirts need replaced

Our family of 4, including 21 and 18 year olds, loved this location. Property manager Paul met us to make sure we knew where to park, how to get into the property. It’s a short walk down a ramp to the lagoon and we had all the beach supplies to make the most of the trip. The pull out couch is likely fine for smaller people—would keep that in mind if a larger group is staying. The hotel, Paul, convenient app we were given to help navigate the area were terrific!

This was my second stay here. The view is excellent for not only the sunrise and sunset but the firework show on Friday nights. Washer/dryer and fully stocked kitchen were much appreciated. I really love how the beach gear is passed along by the renters and we didn’t have to buy anything for a week on the beach. There was plenty of gear for the whole family. The condo is exactly as the pictures show. I highly recommend this location to all my family and friends. I’ve had a great experience on both of my stays.

The Good Location in the middle of Waikiki next to the harbor and the Hilton is excellent. Middle of everything. Very clean floors, kitchen, and towels. Fireworks on Friday night from the balconies outstanding Double balconies were nice Master bedroom was large with personal bathroom Nice bidets in both bathrooms Cable worked well in main room with movie channels Kitchen is well fitted out - blender, utensils, etc... Door Dash brought food right to the door Parking pass in the building with a dedicated spot if you're renting a car. Communication with Captain Cook Rentals was good up to the rental - easy to get into the room and make payments etc... Good website with info about the unit. Opportunities to Improve 2nd bedroom twin beds are very small and sheets are small and they were not very clean - recommend Full beds with new linens Ice maker was broken and made very loud noises all night. Property manager did not return text and never fixed it. Not sure why bc he responded to other text about parking etc...??? Could never get the 2nd bedroom TV to work Kitchen is functional but needs updating Laundry is in the 2nd bedroom - note in terms of doing laundry if people are trying to sleep etc... One morning we had no hot water for showing for 3 hours Furniture and decorations are dated and older. Basic but functional - think beach bungalow - saw into other units that looked nicer with granite, new carpets, etc.... I would not rent this unit again but I would rent in the building Ilikai again and I would rent from Captain Cook again. Several of the floors in the middle of the building are owner/rental and the bottom and top floors are hotel. Mixed building. Great location. Fair price.

We are a family of 4, traveling with our young adult sons and this condo was perfect for our family. We were at the end of a 15 day Hawaiian vacation (3 islands) and this was our last stop before heading home. The location, amenities were great, no resort fee, one parking spot included and easy access to shops, restaurants and the beach. The property mgmt team was excellent, very responsive, always picked up the phone and helpful. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Wonderful way to close out our vacation!

Overall this property was just what we wanted. Great view, proximity to the beach, and location. When we arrived, Paul was quick to greet us and pass along all the details of the stay. The master bath did have sand still on the floor and a towel hanging on the back of the door from the previous people. Overall great condo and customer service.
