This was an exceptional property. The owner was very attentive to detail when he set it up. We didn’t need air conditioning because the retreat is situated to catch the hilltop breeze. The owner had great recommendations for a romantic dinner. He met us upon arrival, biking up from the beach to do so. Wish we had booked it longer.

I liked the room itself, nice and modern. Located in a beaitful lot and nearby the owners.
Signage was unclear and difficult to find. Owners were traveling and couldn't be reached upon first entry. Advertised gym facilities very basic. Chose the venue to use the gym facilities but had to jump through hoops--first contact the owners to get the key, then drive around to find the gym, then realizing the gym facilities were very basic.

No sink in the kitchen which was a bit awkward.
The bathroom became quite wet as the fan was not sufficient.

Maybe a sink in the kitchen would have been useful rather than using the dishwasher all the time.

Loved this place. Jay was very friendly and helpful. Great view with lots of room and small kitchen. Comfy bed and nice and quiet for sleeping. Short drive to the lake and shops with lots of choices for food. . Would highly recommend.

Large lounge area with a tiny kitchenette (no sink), beautiful bathroom with amazing shower. Bed was comfortable. Room was quiet with beautiful views outside lounge area. Since it’s a separate granny flat you don’t hear any noises from other people.
Must park on the street and drag luggage from road, over grass, then to a tiny path before you can get in. Quite inconvenient and would be better if we can drive right up to the entrance. Place was also a bit hard to find and far to walk from town centre.

Really lovely location and very comfortable apartment. Bedroom and bathroom and really comfortable with some lovely touches. The kitchenette is well stocked and the info booklet provided if full of useful local info. Our hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming or acccomdating, inviting us for a drinking and checking we had everything we needed. The bikes provided free are a real bonus too…they’re good bikes and well serviced and we used them to cycle round some of the local vineyards!

It's such a beautiful little studio, spacious and super clean. Jay was very friendly and had good advice about what to do and where to eat. He even dropped off some bikes for us to use! Thanks for everything!

Minaret Ridge Retreat was a beautiful guest house, very spacious and comfortable! The community club was easily accessible for hot tubs and bikes available to use. The house was a short drive from town with beautiful views on the way. The hosts were very accommodating and would highly recommend.
