What a great place to stay for bike week! We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the lake with our friends. The house was nice and cozy, plenty of room for everyone. Great location, close to Alton Bay (one of our favorite destinations on the bikes), Weirs, and Laconia HD. Definitely would stay here again.

The perfect location for a family getaway. Comfortably held 2 small children, 2 dogs, and 4-5 adults both inside and outside. We thoroughly enjoyed fishing, grilling, canoeing, and more. Felt like an escape to nature while being conveniently located close to restaurants, shops, grocery stores....anything you could need. Thank you, Elaine!

Lovely lake, great host. I’ve been coming to this lake for 48 years and Elaine has always been accommodating. The chalet is updated every year. Looks great!

Enjoyed spending time at the Rust Pond cottage. A perfect place for our family to stay during the holiday - especially my two grandsons. I recommend it highly!

Another amazing year at beautiful Rust Pond. The weather was perfect and the fishing was even better. Wolfeboro seems to be recovering from COVID and businesses are back open. We have been coming here for 21 years and will continue to come here for another 21. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.

This house was perfect for us. Walking distance from the venue where my sister got married.

Well worth the money. Stayed for a long weekend bc of my Brother’s wedding. No issues, everything was neat and tidy, labeled and accessible. Only strange occurrence was on one of the days, someone was walking around the property looking into the windows and seeing if doors were locked. I had my pistol so I wasn’t too worried but my family found it strange and off putting.

This cottage is beautiful. The view is beyond description. My dog, Charlie, was in dog heaven!! He was in the water almost the whole time!!

Beautiful spot on the shady side of the pond. Great sleeping. Owner came on first night to deliver some cleaning supplies and bath matts - but we think also to check us out. Which is totally fine. She gave us a good rec for a restaurant in town. Unfortunately she and one of the neighbors used the property as a cut through that evening while my husband was reading late at night and stuck their faces into the screen to say hello and scared the hell out of him. The owners are right next door All in all we had a good time though. Everything is very organized with notes everywhere.

Our third time here and it's just as great as ever. Everything you need is provided for a fun, enjoyable and relaxing time. The hosts are great and always helpful. This is my favorite vacation spot!

Great place for our family and pup. The home was clean and in a quiet location and the owners were always quick to respond.

We visited Campbellot last week for a long weekend. We were a group of seven (ages ranging from mid-20s to early 60s). It checked every box - amazing outdoor living space with water views, cozy inside space with enough seating for everyone, and rustic and woodsy yet close to downtown Wolfeboro where we enjoyed some shopping and coffee. We loved reading on the deck, boating in Rust Pond, hiking nearby, grilling, and playing games. We hope to come back for another stay!

Enjoyed our second stay. We look forward to returning again soon.

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway in the fall. Feels like you are in the nature of NH but downtown Wolfeboro is only a few minutes down the road if you want. Would definitely stay here again.

We were pleasantlty surprised by how accurate the listing is and the little unexpected extra touches left by the owners. like the lovely hand written note welcoming us. The location of the house gives you spectatular views of the pond and the changing color of the fall leaves. The weather was a little cold to get in the water, but if we had, the owners had kayaks, small boat, paddles, fishing poles and much more. There is a side grassey area that would be great for a family game of football, kick ball, volley ball, soccer, etc. The kitchen was well equipped. Thank you for the joy and delight of staying at such a lovely spot. Exceptional in every way! We hope to visit again.

At the last minute, my husband and I (who organized this get-away for family and two old friends) were unable to go. The rest of our party went without us, so this is a second-hand report. In short, they had a marvelous time. They said the hosts had thought of everything, and the house was beautiful and well- stocked in every way, including with media options--a good thing since there were some rainy days. They loved the location and the views over the pond. Their only "complaint," if it can be called that, was the number of stairs (we are all 65-plus), which of course we could have gathered from the photos/description. My husband and I--who are pretty good with stairs--hope to try again for next year.

This was a great house for our week of vacation. The location was perfect- tucked away in a very peaceful area, but only a little more than 5 minutes from downtown Wolfeboro, which had a bunch of restaurants, shops, and a great walking/running trail. The house itself is right on the water of a good size pond, and away from busy Lake Winnipesaukee. The open concept was perfect for us. We did have 3 young children, so the only thing is that the downstairs might have been a little tight with them running around. But we only had one day that it was raining and we were stuck inside. All the other days we were outside, where there is a ton of room for them to run around- a huge deck and side yard. Just be aware of the stairs off the deck that go right do the water if you have small children with you. The kitchen is very well equipped with tons of cooking utensils, pots and pans, plates, bowls, utensils, etc. and the grill was located right outside the kitchen side door. We would definitely recommend this house for others to spend a vacation!

we used this property for a mini vacation for family and friends. it was very clean and nice. the dock was great for jumping off and i loved paddle boarding. the curtains in the bedrooms make it super dark which was great for sleeping in.
