The stuffs were super friendly. What did we love the most is the location and the position of the Hotel. Perfect place to stay for couple during the holiday.

Though the breakfast was included with the based price, we would be happy if they could add some more items.

The room was comfortable and offered such a nice view over the canal. The adjacent restaurant had an excellent breakfast and offered a great menu for lunch and dinner! The staff were incredibly helpful and kind…they truly went out of their way to serve me and others.

The stairs going up to the room on the second story were a little steep and narrow, but I was able to navigate them ok at almost 70 years of age 😊

Great and special place, where the history of the yesteryears meets today's ambiance. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout my stay. Excellent food at the restaurant for very reasonable prices. Thumbs up for the way this place is managed.

The place is fantastic. The location is next to a little canal, very close to the centre of Franeker, you can enjoy the view when you have your breakfast on the terrace. The bedroom was original, beautiful, big, and very comfortable. I could enjoy a super night and a very relaxing time in the bath. The breakfast was generous. I really recommend you to have dinner there too in the evening. It was delicious and a wonderful moment.

Almost everything was perfect, maybe there was not enough soap in the bathroom.

Good location on the bank of a Canal with a restaurant serving a variety of dishes. Very helpful staff and a garage to park my motorbike in.

I arrived late and had called in advance when I would be arriving. That was all ok, but when I actually arrived, the door was locked and nobody was there. After a while someone/ the owner I think happened to come out of the kitchen and then it was ok. The room was ice-cold to start with and didn’t really get warm until the next morning. They didn’t know the rate that I booked. But the person on check-out was nice and gave me that rate anyway.

small things: missing hangers to hang towels in the shower and a soap dispenser. Some channels on TV upstairs was a bit jumpy.

Breakfast was okay, I got glutenfri bread after I asked for it. Parking lot was tiny, but there was plenty of parking space nearby.

I was able to hear everything from rooms next to mine. Noisy night, little sleep.

Lovely hotel - really pretty and the restaurant is fantastic. The stuff are superb, really friendly and can't do enough to help. I would thoroughly recommend this for anyone looking to book in the local area!

Would love some cereal options at breakfast to compliment there lovely selections of bread but appreciate that's the continental style!

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, spacious perfectly clean room.

Unfortunately the heating of the room was inadequate, it was freezing outside and there was only one hot airblower which warmed the room only locally and was noisy at night.
