W obiekcie spędziliśmy 4 noce. W drugim dniu zmieniono nam pokój na budynek główny z widokiem na morze o dużo wyższym standardzie. Obiekt przepięknie położony, 17 km od lotniska. Świetna baza wypadowa w różne zakątki wyspy. Śniadania smaczne, urozmaicone. Do poprawy jest jajecznica😏sucha, przesmażona bez żadnej zieleniny. Reszta super! Fajna restauracja na miejscu z dobrymi greckimi daniami. Dało się wyczuć ze to biznes rodzinny bo każdy każdego poleca ale to akurat na duży plus ze dba się o swoją rodzine. Wizyta tu to czysta przyjemność , radość dla oczu i duszy🥰Polecamy gorąco!!!

The breakfast was the same each day, that is little bit boring 😉 If you dont have a car you dont have anywere to walk, they have not road near the beach.

I really enjoyed the location - very calm and close to attractions: winery, golf club. The refurbished rooms with the sea view are great. But could do with softer pillows (or that there would be a choice). The poolside is very very nice and its great that almost at all times you can get food in the facility.

Coffee during breakfast was not great:( Also considering there is no other places to eat nearby, of the restaurant food (for residents at least) would be a little cheaper, then we would have eaten there all 7 days of our stay. Prices not much different as in the super touristy taverna at the beach made us venture more outside for dinner and lunch.

Great all around. Sea view is amazing, staff were very friendly and helpful. Beach is a short walk away. Breakfast could use a bit more variety. I would recommend this to anyone.

The location is great but you must have a car. Otherwise, it's very very expensive to take a taxi anywhere. There's not a great deal to do around. Only 3 restaurants in total, including the one from the hotel. Make sure you rent a car or a scooter if you want to not feel isolated.

I especially loved the view from our room which added a unique experience. The culinary journey at Hotel Philoxenia was also great Takis and his team treated us to a delectable array of Greek delicacies that tantalized our taste buds and left us wanting more. We absolutely loved our stay at Philoxenia! The family running the place are the nicest and most helpful people ever. The area is beautiful, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the pool area is super chill and cozy. The breakfast was also really nice. family run hotel with real character

The hotel complex has many terraces with a great view. Sunset view is exceptional from the restaurant terrace. We dined in every evening, domestic dishes are freshly prepared and I can't describe how wonderfully it tasted every single time. Staff is exceptionally friendly and hospital, they welcome you as you were their oldest friend. The place altogether is well organized, not crowdy, well preserved and clean. I loved that breakfast, lunch and dinner each take place on different terrace. We spent the whole 5-day vacation in the hotel area. The place is perfect for relaxing and recharging. I was thinking about coming back with a laptop to work remotely for some time.

We loved everything about our stay in Philoxenia. We were made feel most welcome from the moment we arrived at the hotel. Takis, Maria and Spiridon and all the staff made sure everything was perfect for our stay. There was a lovely buffet breakfast and lunch and dinner were also available. Most of our family are vegetarian and there were plenty of options to choose from and all freshly made. Takis makes one of the best mojitos, he even picks the mint from the garden as he makes them. Takis gave great advice on places to go and things to see and arranged trips if required. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the beach and there is a small shop nearby where you can get essentials. The bus stop is located near the shop where the green bus stops several times a day and will take you to Corfu Town. The location is beautiful, surrounded by wooded hills and so many wild flowers. We were sad to be leaving and hope to return some day

We've spent 10 days there on our Honeymoon. The hotel is operated by a very nice family who puts the guests needs first in every occasion! We rented a partial ocean view value room and the panorama from our terrace was exquisite, it was more beautiful what we expected in advance, we could watch the sunset from the bed, and the calming sound of the waves helped us fall asleep at night. The rooms are cleaned frequently and they change the bedsheet and the towels by every 2 days so it was also a big positive point. The hotel has an ala carte restaurant, not so much food on the menu but they are delicious and big portions from homemade recepies and local food specialties. We liked the pool area most. Calming music, great view to the mountains and the beach, delicious drinks and a rather big pool to swim for 5-6 people at the same time! Mojitos are a must try there!!! 😀 The whole family and the staff was very friendly through the whole time! They help you booking boat trip to Paxos, give you help what to do on the island and they dont turn you down if you have special request. It’s a quiet, relaxing place, we don’t reccomend it to party people, but its perfect for a romantic holiday! The beach is less then 10 minutes by walk, there is a small grocery store nearby and there are several car renting offices near. The bus stop to Kerkyra is also 10 minutes on foot so everything is near. We definitely gonna come back if we visit Corfu again! Thank you for everything Mr. Takis & Family Attila & Alexandra ♥️🙂

Great view, great beach, great location. It has a close rental shop for cars, scooters or ATVs very close. The breakfast is very good, great eggs and crooissants plus other good stuff. The pool is awesome with a great view to the mountain. It also has a good view to the sea but the mountain view is better. The staff is super nice and the owner makes sure his guests have the bext experience possible.

I am not saying I didn't like this, but there is room to improve, in partivular the furniture. It's good and working properly but because of the humidity in the air, it catches up on a smell you will might feel in your clothes. Maybe it's not always like this and it could be just because we were there at the end of september and it was raining for a few days, so higher humidity.

The hotel has a very good location near to the beach (200m), the personal was very kind and the breakfast very good.

There is no bus from it to other location than Corfu Town. You need to take the bus to Corfu City Bus first and then to any location on the island.

Had a brilliant stay. It is a very nice cozy family hotel, located in a beautiful place with sea and mountains view, 30 min from the city centre by car. The owner of the hotel has organised excursions to the Blue caves and Albania with a pick up from the hotel. There was a good breakfast, a lovely lunch and dinner including local food and delicious mojito cocktails. All staff were extremely helpful and did their best to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Breakfast was super simple and easy, I’m vegan and I was able to find something every morning and didn’t have to stress. Location was lovely and quiet. 25ish minute bus to the city which was super easy to find and use, little shop just near the bus stop with all the important things you may need, little restaurant near the seafront too! Value for money was really good, rooms were beautiful and had a really good view. All the staff were lovely, so kind and knew everything we needed to know. Would defiantly stay again!

After an extremely busy year, my daughter Joy and myself needed a break. We booked our stay at the Philoxenia hotel in Corfu. It turned out to be a great decision. From the moment we passed the doorstep of this lovely family hotel, we left the stress of our busy life behind. We really felt at home during our stay here and were so much looked after by this friendly family. They pampered us and anticipated every question or request we had. The personalised friendly care of the hotel owners is genuine and can not be compared to the service you find at big international tourist hôtels. The infrastructure of the hotel is very convenient. The location is beautiful, near to a small lovely sea bay and surrounded by green steep hills. No busy streets nearby so no trafic noise. Additionaly, you will not find mass tourism here ! The hotel has everything you need : we had a very clean and comfortable room (room 108) with a stunning sea view (we loved the sunsets as the picture shows), a nice swimming pool with relaxation area. Delicious local food is served under the old oak tree or in the restaurant. We tried and approved the famous mojitos ! Hotel Philoxenia carries well its name, the hospitality of the owners is your guarantee for a perfect relaxing stay in Corfu !

The Corfu coast is beautiful everywhere. The poor employees did as well as they could under the circumstances.

We were assaulted by the owner who promised us a risible 20 euro discount for our room after a sleepless night without a/c & 100's of mosquitos. When we told him we had 2 rooms, he split the discount into 10 euros each! We were checking out, but that didn't stop him from threatening to throw us out. He touched us while making wild threats, stood menacingly close & kept repeating how he was throwing us out after we had already checked out and were leaving! He followed us to the car, stood in front of it making wild claims about suing us and threatened to call the police against two dentists, a physician and an attorney! Apparently, another reviewer two years ago, Mr. Jakob Strange-Hansen, had a very similar experience. It was surreal! Does the bland breakfast, signs of deferred maintenance (broken tiles on the steps, holes in the bathroom tiles, missing bathroom fixtures etc) and, (according to the employees) unreliable, inefficient a/c in 30C plus temperatures even matter when your host has the propensity to become belligerent, aggressive and threatening if you have the audacity to complain? Stunningly wrong and horribly inhospitable.
