My 2 day stay was perfect. The room is no-frills and functional. The place is ideally located, close to downtown with a abundance of good restaurants nearby. Breakfast is a great value with excellent products: for instance bacon is perfectly cooked, crispy and crunchy. I happened to have broken the desk lamp when packing and was ready to pay for the damage. I told the lady in charge, she went to have a look, told me I owed nothing and gave me some chocolates as a souvenir. Wow. These people are professional, friendly and gracious: great ambassadors of the German hotel industry. Outstanding.

the bathroom and the bed

I booked by booking with payment in the structure but unfortunately without any permit they toke my money, when I wanted to pay in the structure with cash they said that it was not possible and I had to let them know. WHAT EXACTLY if I chose the payment there? If I wanted to pay in advance I could chose a different way to pay. The reception guy insinuate that I was stupid so I really hated that attitude that destroyed all my vacation mood. Never again. To do that job they should study how to be nice. Anyway for the money that I paid the breakfast was super sad with just few things.

Wonderful hotel. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Very beautiful, clean, and cozy interior. Everything is up to date and very nice. Rooms are furnished very modernly. Breakfast is very nice, quality food with authentic German food. The host made me fresh eggs and bacon. Very quiet. Very close and convenient to the train station, yet you will not see or hear it. Restaurants and bars and shopping within a 5 minute walk. I hope I get to return some day.

Charming hotel with all modern amenities. Perfect location, short walk to the town centre and close to main attractions including Zugspitze Mountains and Lake Eibsee. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Great breakfast.

Superb spa-like bathroom and excellent breakfast. Location could not be better, out of the heavy tourist traffic but only two blocks from the main pedestrian thoroughfare and sights. Management provided us an outstandingly situated room with gorgeous alpine views. Many many thanks.

Front disk unfortunately not in mood to talk to, not helping at all while asking for stuff. rooms has no kettle till you ask for and the size of the room is to tight.
