The location is inconvenient since there is no asfalted road to the hotel from any direction. The house is very old, and the room looks correspondingly - it is really poor and tight. The stairs are inconvenient, especially for going down with a suitcase.

We loved our stay at Hotel Le Capanne! We were so exhausted from being tourists in Rome and Positano, that coming to Arezzo and relaxing by the pool all day was the perfect antidote. The staff at the Hotel are so accommodating and will do whatever they can to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen isn't open for lunch, but they made us sandwiches anyway so that we wouldn't have to travel into town. Loved, loved, loved this place!! And the in-house restaurant was exceptional! We ate there every night of our stay without question.

Dinner in the Restaurant was absolutely exceptional at our first 2 stays. This time we found it still very good, but not as exceptional as before.

a warm welcome from Linda at reception on arrival which continued from all the staff on our stay at this wonderful Tuscan farmhouse The staff couldn’t do enough for you. Stefano and his brother were so helpful .The food was delightful (perfect steak) and the service excellent . A beautiful clean pool with plenty of loungers and parasols. Our room (3) was immaculately clean with excellent aircon. Would score this stay 11 if possible

Lots of outdoor space, convenient parking, very close to the Arezzo equestrian center, if one is interested. Helpful and cordial receptionist.

Room 15 was awkward in 2 small levels connected by a steel staircase. Neither area had enough space for comfortably moving around. A small kitchenette under the staircase is untenable, shower had low pressure and water temperature was unstable. No wi-fi in the room. Breakfast was indifferent with mostly packaged food. Dinner was O.K.

Breakfast was good, location was very good, dinner in the restaurant was excellent.

Beautiful old country house hotel with sympathetic additions. Excellent restaurant and friendly, helpful staff. set not far from A1 in farmland. We will be back.

it was almost impossible to find! the hosts admitted there was no gps coverage a kindly local woman drove all the way from the village to point out the property in the middle of vast landscape

The gentleman on reception was very welcoming and actually showed us our room and explained how things worked. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast

Nothing could have been better

This place is spectacularly beautiful! We had to eat gluten free so we chose this place for the kitchenette. But the restaurant on site was able to do a really good gluten free meal. The property also offers a driver service into Arezzo. On our checkout morning, we took the service into town and later in the day the hotel sent our luggage to meet us at the train station. The staff is wonderful!

The kitchenette can be a bit awkward to use given its location under the stairs, but it was modern and clean and had everything we needed.

Amazing hotel with newly renovated rooms but still keep the original flair. Everything is very clean and all staff are extremely friendly. Nice variety of breakfast options which is often not the case in Italy. Pool is well maintained. Thanks to the hotel team for making this a great stay!
