1 night stay with my son to watch the football. You get what you pay for at Britannia hotels. Room was decent size and clean. Furniture and decor is old but this gives it its character. Old building is lovely with a nice games room
And bar. Free parking. Bathroom had a bath which is always good to have the option. Warm room. Bar and reception staff very nice.
Check on says 3 and we arrived at 3 and had to wait 35 minutes on the ok to be checked in. There was at least 5 others waiting Aswell. Don’t know why they can’t give you a clean room instead on waiting on every room in the hotel being done before they let guests in. Cleaning staff were walking around the corridors swearing and talking very loudly about how check in should be 4 or 5pm to give them more time to clean rooms. 10am check out. Would have preferred 11 like most hotels.

Dirty, tired, food was truck stop at best, no toilet roll in room, dirt toilet, whole place is tired and ill kept, heard another guest said it was like colditz lol

Budget accommodation, friendly staff, ideal location to airport and local beaches.
No wifi in rooms phone signal not the best. bought extra at £7 per device for 24 hours.

The staff were really amazing in helping me with my queries ! Was a pleasure very nice staff & hotel. Me and my dog were very happy when we got home. 😊🐶

staff were friendly , cheap
room was clean but bathroom needed a refurb sink leaked over the floor, mould on the bath and seals broken. TV did not work & £12 for continental breakfast, I don’t think so .

I liked the staff and how they go out of their way to make sure the guests were comfortable. Especially the housekeeper and a new Asian staff --and the chef as well they went out of their way to make sure I had the food for my necessary diet requirements for my bioactive prescriptions and when I missed the dining times
Robert and the head housekeeper and the new young Asian girl were excellent
I don't dislike the locatiom, I like that it is quiet...but I wish there was a shuttle service between the hotel and the town or airport.... It is difficult to get into town to go to the bank, pick up prescriptions etc after arrival otherwise I would have stayed longer . The staff were excellent Love the staff . Robert the Scottish head house keeper she went out of her way to helpe and the new Asian girl. but the other Ukrainian housekeepers and were also excellent

Make sure you ask the staff for a room close to the lift for disability accessibility
The lift Is in the back and it's hard for me to walk I have a spinal injury

Organisation of room allocation was disjointed. Breakfast finished at 9, as a result we didn’t pay to eat and instead went to a different café as we were informed that we only had 15 minutes to eat.

The country house is lovely . I liked the fact we were near the access to the garden for the dog and easy access to restaurant.

The old part of the hotel is a lovely building.
My dogs were welcomed for an additional charge.
The room was in an annexe at the back of the hotel, the window was broken, the taps dripped and the general décor very dated and tired.

beautiful location and the hotel look lovely from the outside
dirty, needs updating as very tried. staff not very friendly, on arrival we were not given details about breakfast. 1st we had none of the sockets worked
