Trevor was extremely helpful despite being very busy and often the only person on duty.

- We advised that we were travelling for my father's funeral. Despite this we were given Rooms 4 & 10. In what world do you separate travellers staying for a funeral? - There was a noisy boiler or some such equipment in Room 10. Each time we ran the water in was very noisy. - Breakfast orders finished very early, at 08.45, even at the weekend. This is far too early. - Quality of Continental Breakfast was quite poor - Room 4 didn't sleep on the night after my father's funeral due to an extremely inconsiderate fellow guest slamming their door next to her room at 10.30pm and having their TV blaring out until 02.00am. There was no number to call to reception to sort it out

Fantastic location , great character about the place , very clean, lovely staff , amazing breakfast , warm and very comfortable room, first class , great value for money.

Had two nights here and found everything to my satisfaction and would definately stay again

Staff were welcoming and rooms were clean, warm and well-stocked with tea/coffee etc.

The breakfast was fab and the staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable.

The shower really wasn't great.

It was clean and the staff were very friendly. It was a nice pint too. The breakfast was exceptional.
