A very comfortable, rather ‘traditional‘ hotel with a good location. Best rooms have large terraces with great sea/city views. Nearby, a great shopping centre and many nice restaurants. (We were also unlucky enough to have a small medical emergency, and the support we received was exemplary.)

A swimmable pool would be a great addition (though there's probably not the space).

Localização excelente, próximo ao Punta Carretas Shopping que além de ser muito bom, conta com excelente supermercado. Há tb, muito próximo, ótimos restaurantes. O hotel fica em frente a Rambla de Montevidéu com acesso a um lugar maravilhoso para caminhar e andar de bicicleta (disponibilizada pelo hotel). O acesso à Praia de Los Pocitos é bem rápido caminhando pela orla .

It was a great experience. Starting from the check-in and staff, were quick and easy, they respected the price shown here and were very attentive to us. The hotel looks neat and clean. The room was beautiful and spacious. The best part? The breakfast. It was super complete and delicious.

We used the indoor jacuzzi, which was okay but definitely needed some maintenance.

As a couple we had a big room with two single bed. We asked for a change and they gave us a smaller room with king size bed and told us that that one was more expensive (20%) really not nice or fair.

It was our first visit to Uruguay and the staff on reception were so kind and helpful. They patiently and with smiles assisted in any request we had. Hotel has an excellent location near the river in the vicinity of the shopping center and some good restaurants. The room was spacious with a view on the river. Breakfast was good, as well.

Staff at front desk and restaurant provide top quality service! Rooms are spacious and clean. Beds rather comfortable. Great location.

Everything was great there

The location was great. Walkable to the Punta Carretas mall. The food at the restaurant for breakfast and the tea time was excellent and high quality of food. I highly recommend you try their tea hour buffet in the afternoon! One of the few hotels in Montevideo that has jacuzzi and with a wonderful view from the top. The view of the room was amazing (I got sea view from the side). The bed was extremely comfortable! You can jog or walk right next to the sea just crossing the avenue of the hotel and it was so nice with many people walking and doing exercise too in the morning.

I didn't know in advance that to use the jacuzzi you had to make a reservation. Luckily there weren't enough people when I wanted to go. But if you know you want to use it when you go at a certain time, I would reserve it before you go so it's not fully booked. The jacuzzi could be a bit warmer.

nothing really special about the hotel but its location

hotel is super old; bathroom door didn’t close; air conditioning wasn’t working properly it was all the time super cold so we had to turn it off. gym is extremely small like for a person and swimming pool needs to be booked per room and each room can book it only for one hour. staff was super unfriendly. they charged us for two more days, and made a huge problem about letting us leave after one night at the hotel because we truly hated staying there. it took us 4h, booking.com support and a lot of nerves to make them not charge us for other 4-5nights as they said they would. so we stayed one night but paid for three. we went to other hotel, which turned out way better. if you can avoid this place - it’s overpriced and definitely not worth the money. For me it was a scam.

At 2 am in the morning I woke up to a shower from the ceiling, after calling for help they realized is was coming from the air conditioning, and they shared it has happened before. The staff wanted for me to stayed in that wet room until the next morning. My plane was leaving later on the day and I requested a late check out and they charge me for it. I will never stay in that hotel nor my family or friends.

excellent location and great staff

The breakfast was excellent, and the staff's attention was as well. The location is just perfect; charming neighborhood near the beach, and the bedroom has good noise cancellation.

USD 30 Charge for early check in at 10.00 unreasonable as that is when the international flights have you arrive. However this was refunded when the bath did not function and we had to use the shower which we thought was. appropriate and friendly.
