This is a pretty, quaint family run hotel on the beach and next to restaurants and bars and ice cream shops. The old town looks down on the piazza next to it. It has a garden courtyard where you can have drinks or delicious lunch which leads off the bar area. You can step through from courtyard to piazza and sea view. Breakfast is served inside or out on the shaded terrace overlooking the beach. Terrace tables are for 2 only so it’s quiet. The breakfast choice is excellent with homemade cakes by the owner. The complimentary good quality beach loungers and parasols are a step away. The bedroom was fresh and light and well appointed with a bedside socket and more at the dressing table. there’s a mini fridge and full length mirror in room.. The staff are so friendly and accommodating.

Bathroom is small but with adequate limited toiletry selection. The basin drainage was foul smelling. It didn’t get much better even after I reported it. I shouldn’t have had to because the cleaners could not have missed the smell.

The location is outstanding with breathtaking views.

sadly our room was ground floor at the back and we we were subject to some cooling system going off and on all night. There was nothing the hotel could do about it, if full, so we didn’t complain.

A really lovely hotel situated directly at a private beach, nice porch with beautiful flowers, splendid breakfast, good lunch and exceptionally nice and welcoming staff/owners (especially at breakfast). You can hear the sound from the waves in your room if it is facing the sea.

Room could have been a little larger (they seem to look larger in the pictures). I asked for twin beds but only double beds were available, but that was not a huge problem.

Amazing location, very close to the beach. Breakfast is included and you have variety of choices (eggs, veggies, fruits, sweets etc) Staff is super friendly and helpful.

The rooms are not super modern, but clean and have everything you might need. I would like to have a few charging sockets close to the the bed. The shower is quite small but clean.

Room towards sea side provided nice sea view, nice beach directly at the hotel, old town of Sperlonga in close walking distance, great breakfast (buffet style) with a view. We can definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel Aurora was perfect. set in beautiful gardens, with private beach, comfortable and elegantly decorated rooms, great breakfast and friendly, helpful staff Hotel is in a piazza in the flat part of Sperlonga with plenty of restaurants and coffee places within walking distance Old part of city is very beautiful and requires walk up narrow stepped streets, however if needed Aurora can organise a taxi to the top. Old part is gorgeous, with many shops and restaurants, then easy to walk down admiring all that beauty and views out to sea 💙💙💙

The hotel is in a great location right on the beach. The sun loungers and parasols are free to residents (beach towels extra). The views towards town and out to sea towards Ponza are fantastic and the sunsets were brilliant during our stay. The hotel was classy with high standards throughout. There seems to have been a recent make over with everything tastefully finished and in pristine condition The room was perfect with great views, breakfast was really good with a wide range of options and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Couldn’t fault it.

I liked Giuseppe, the front desk manager, he was very helpful and nice. I also loved the water pressure in the shower and the large bed and location right on the beach. I Loved the terrace with the beautiful view. The beach is just lovely. The breakfast was also generous and offered a wide selection. I also loved Altro the restaurant across. Delicious food, although for the ravenous, it will not be filling.

I did not like that my balcony opened to other balconies, so I did not feel comfortable sleeping with the door open. Perhaps higher bars between balconies would help. Also, the room felt a bit stuffy.

Very well run, friendly hotel in a beautiful location. It is right on the beach with stunning sunset views and only a short walk into the old town. The garden area was beautiful, filled with an amazing array a plants all so well looked after. We only stayed one night on our way to the airport and had a lovely last day in Italy.

The Aurora Hotel was just what we needed after 20 hours of flying. We arrived near the end of the afternoon pausa. The terrace restaurant and beachfront bar still held a few chatting groups. The multilingual staff put up with my rusty Italian. The immaculate tiled room was small, as advertised, but contained all the essentials in contemporary Italian style and included one small and one huge terrace overlooking the sea. The views of the fine sand coastline in the afternoon sun were dazzling. The shower was strong and relaxing. The bed perfect and welcoming as the lapping waves lulled us to sleep for a while. The barman arrived soon after with a bottle of prosecco and spuntini. Favuloso.

Best possible location with magical views over the Mediterranean as well as fantastic sundowns. Friendly and attentive staff.

This was like going back to the golfen age of 60/70 ies. Loved the luxury feel with perfect service.
