Very nice staff and good tour agency at the location. The dorm was very comfortable.
Breakfast could be bigger but it was nice that it was homemade. Slightly far from the town centre.

The hosts were just incredible!
The room was lovely and clean, and the breakfast provided was tasty and plentiful.
They helped to arrange all the tours and transfers needed and were very responsive with all the questions and requests I had, not Barreirinhas!
You really are in great hands here ☺️

The hosts were so nice and helpful! Even though we arrived late in the evening due, she helped us arranging a tour to the national park the next morning. Can definitely recommend.

Everything! It was super clean and comfortable and the wonderful hostel owners make it feel like a home away from home, which I needed!! As I don’t speak Portuguese, they helped me arrange tours, get what I needed from the pharmacy and change the arrival time for my next hostel in Jeri.

Good breakfast and good staff attitude
Location is a bit far. Not so spacious, a little cramped and there is a strange rule a minimum of three people in the dorm to activate the air conditioning.

The breakfast was good!
The host arranged very easily a tour to Lençois Maranhenses for the day after.
You have to walk a little from the city center but it's ok.

The staff is extremely nice and the place is cute and cosy! Very good breakfast, and also the shuttle to go to the dunes can come by this hotel.

The staff were incredibly nice and the breakfast was tasty and pretty variable. The tours that they offered were actually very reasonably-priced... about the same as if you go and negotiate with independent companies. It's also really easy to meet people here- good vibe.
The dorm was real cramped- six beds in a quite small space with only a fan unless there are four or more people staying. There also wasn't much of a hang out area- very few places to just chill and relax. No lockers, no kitchen available for guest use, and the wifi wasn't very good. Overall basic facilities for a hostel-- nothing special.

The owner is so lovely!!she help us so much. She gave us breakfast much earlier and recommended the tour to do and an amazing local restaurant.

What a great place to stay. The hosts were amazing and really went out of there way to help us organise tours. It felt like staying with family staying here. I hope to return one day!

Hostel em boas maos is the best hostel in Barreirinhas. Cineide and Edson are amazing people, very hospitable and friendly, always serving good the travelers. The breakfast is also very good. The rooms and beds are very clean and includes shared or private bathroom. Ask them about the tours and transfers, they have the best price. They're very well located near the local Police station.

Owner is an amazing person. He is always there to help me, be it dropping me at bus station, arranging lunch when all the restaurants are closed, etc. He speaks Portuguese very slowly so that I can understand. He is the first person with whom I had decent Portuguese conversation 😃
