The Claymore is exceptionally clean with a very comfortable bed and excellent off road parking. Staff very helpful and friendly. The location is brilliant - just off the main road yet extremely quiet.

Room was a little small but very comfortable with excellent en suite facilities.

It was ideally located. On the main road, but not near the hustle and bustle. The room and bathroom were very clean and modern. We were very comfortable. The breakfast served each morning was well made with fresh ingredients that left us full and satisfied!

Can’t fault it. We enjoyed our stay.

What was there not to like. Immaculate, very friendly family fun guest house. All the facilities you need, so much attention to detail. Nothing was to much trouble. I have stayed in many many guest houses, hotels & B&B’s in Scotland over the years and this one is most certainly in the top 5. We will be stopping here again. it’s a no brainier.

Large ground floor room, very clean, warm and comfortable, fridge also in room. Owners very approachable and accommodating. Breakfast pre-ordered and conservatory where breakfast was served was modern clean and inviting.

The Claymore was run by a very friendly attentive and professional couple. All the facilities were excellent. Everything was roomy and light. Well located at the top end of of Pitlochry, handy for shops, but in quiet location.

Breakfast excellent , location ideal for exploring the area and ideal for walking our two flatcoat retrievers. We upgraded to a superior king suite which gave us more room and made the stay more comfortable!

lovely property, great location with lovely views from our room and from the conservatory for breakfast. our room had loads of space and was very comfortable. In addition you get a nice friendly welcome, a brilliant breakfast and all together enjoyable stay. I’d happily recommend this property.

The whole experience at The Claymore was exceptional. On check-in the owner was very kind in pointing out places to go for dinner, local tourist attractions and nearby stores. The size of the room was totally unexpected, very comfortable and warm. The room was spotless and maintained to a very high standard. The shower in the room was amazing. Breakfast both mornings was an absolute treat and the staff were very attentive. I cannot recommend the claymore highly enough definitely one of the best short stays we have had.

The accommodation is great! Host Gordon and his staff really made us feel at home. The room (4 poster bedroom, with a fantastic view) and breakfast was superb. Our honeymoon in Pitlochry has become unforgettable thanks to The Claymore (team)!

Loved the hotel...it was the absolute best we stayed in during a two week travelling holiday around scotland...we were absolutely blown away by the great value, friendliness...the fab breakfast and the helpful staff.

I didnt like having to move on to another hotel!!! could happily have stayed there for ever. There were no negatives at all, I absolutely recommend this hotel.

Excellent from booking in to our early check out. Stayed an extra day. Room was excellent. Gordon was excellent when we checked in giving us lots of information about the area. Breakfast was excellent and received more information from Gordon about what was on. Heavy snowfall when we were there so appreciate the extra effort put in by everyone.

Beautiful house and excellant and modern amenities. We were made to feel extremely welcome and helpful by Gordon (owner) and the other staff. Fanatastic breakfast. i would highly recommend and will stay there again.

Although listed as a guesthouse the level of accommodation was akin to a 5* hotel. Tastefully decorated with top quality fixtures and fittings. Located on the main road on the north side of the town it was easy to find with easy check in procedure. We chose this based on its rating and reviews and we were not let down in any area
