The hotel, food and staff were all good. The room had a nice view.
My single room 704 was cramped, far inferior to the one my friend had next door. It was very hot and there was no air conditioning. The noise from the adjacent Belmont hotel's kitchen extraction unit was too loud for me. The shower head pointed straight down and could not be angled towards the body so not easy to have a comfortable shower as one had to stand right up against the taps.

My room was rally uncomfortable small bed took all the space and I was single. 3 nights at £92 per night. Food normal but not exceptional. Staff excellent

Breakfast and evening dinner were delicious. The room was very comfortable a little small perhaps but for a few days was it was lovely. The staff were lovely very friendly and so helpful it was lovely to be cosseted for a few days.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the hotel. A full length mirror somewhere would be a good idea.

Took my elderly parents for a short break. They had a very comfortable room with a picture window overlooking the seafront. It was perfect. I had a single room which exceeded my expectations. All of the staff were very friendly and very helpful and accommodating. When my parents didn't feel well enough to come down to breakfast, the staff seamlessly arranged for them to have breakfast delivered to their room which they thoroughly enjoyed. A most enjoyable stay.
We ate in the casual dining room and the service and food were excellent.

no facility to make hot drinks in the rooms and restaurant coffee machine broken. tinned fruit at breakfast and cheap yogurt!

Experienced staff, excellent food, right number of staff attending to our requirements.
Toilet in our bedroom 318 under the rim was dirty so when laying in the bath the sight was not pleasant. A small gap between the shower screen and basin has not been cleaned for some time. The area is too small for a hand to clean in this area but it’s clear to see through the glass screen.

The location was perfect, in walking distance from the seafront and promenade. A beautiful building and the grounds are kept immaculately. The interior is very lovely as well. All the staff were friendly and helpful especially the gentleman helping with the parking. As promised an electric point had been reserved for our use. Both the dinner and breakfast was tasty!
I am afraid that our bathroom let the experience down. It was fairly worn and plain. But what was most unpleasant was the smell which persisted throughout our stay, regardless of the window being open or not.

single bed - why do single rooms have to have small beds? A solo traveller would prefer a small double. Staff could be encouraged to talk more to solo travellers.

Would have preferred a king size or twin beds. Beds not very comfortable. Lovely room though. A bed topper might help.

We wanted somewhere special for an occasion and this was it. Comfortable, luxurious, a treat.
My spa treatment was cancelled on the day which was a shame as I was testing the venue in readiness for a group spa break.

Couldn't fault the hotel on anything. Food was excellent - with a significant choice. All staff were polite & helpful.
There was absolutely nothing that I didn't like about the Victoria.
