Everything was perfect. The apartment, facilities and staff exceeded expectation. Even the weather was glorious for the duration of our stay. Basically an amazing gateway for a special birthday surprise! Can't wait to return in the very near future.

I genuinely couldn't find fault. Tolcarne Beach Apartments provided everything I was looking for.

Being the first weekend of January, we had the place to ourselves, which was an absolute winner. The proximity to the beach is outstanding: definitely an experience we'll not forget in a hurry.

Fantastic location right on the beach. Everything you needed was included, and also, there was a bar/ restaurant on site that served from breakfast until evening meal.

it was dream like .. listening to the waves on the balcony … the beds were so comfy kitchen had everything you would need .

in all honesty. nothing . it ticked all our boxes

Apartment needs some work, large velux windows/fire escape coroded and broken, would not open in main bedroom. Parking was poor and not managed considering very high price charged for the week. Floors were dirty, kitchen needs areas fixing bits broken, slates off windows outside and exterior window to bedroom would not close properly so a security risk! Somewhat disappointing

Great except opportunity for better access. The colonial and its staff and food is exceptional.

They need a designated and branded golf buggy for the access issues. I carried all my luggage back to the car leaving (7 hill climbs, which was no issue at all, but on arriving my mum went in the front seat of two seat van and my kids in the back-of a van. (they flew) One porter - charming man. But another porter dropped my mum (she can’t make the steps) off at the top of the hill as we was ‘taking the trash out’ - not good. Should be a designated clean small vehicle, with seats!

Very friendly staff and management,fab location with lovely views. Restaurant very good enjoyed our breakfasts and a lovely evening meal.

Only the difficult vehicular access but that's due to the lovely situation of the appartments.

Being really fussy here but even though the appartments are self catering, maybe some toiletries such as hand soap & shower gel / shampoo could be provided?

beach location - restaurant and shops all nearby. access down a tight narrow road but we didn’t mind

a little dated now - needed shower and bathroom storage inside. no hand soap provided either. otherwise the basics are there
