The family who run this hotel and their staff were kind, obliging and we were treated as friends not just hotel guests

Exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and dressed property with charming, friendly staff.

Would be nice to see garden area finished but understand this is work in progress.

Fantastic location & views, staff were all lovely, some vegan food options too

The hotel's team are friendly and welcoming. We especially loved the quiet location next to a beach and the hotel breakfast. The room was really spacious and beautifully decorated. I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking to stay in the Newquay area.

We stayed in the Garden Suite which was a beautiful room with a lot of space. The set up was lovely. It's in a great location with the beach right next to the hotel. The food was amazing for breakfast and dinner.

We weren't told we had to book for dinner, thankfully they did squeeze us in which we were grateful for but we felt a bit silly

Staff at the Porth Beach Hotel we’re extremely helpful and friendly. :) Meals were exceptional, especially the breakfasts. The location and scenery were idyllic. We wish the owners all the Best of Luck for the future! :) We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and we would happily stay there again! :)

Only 2 very minor issues: 1. The room temperature was not easy to control. 2. It may have been useful to have a local bus timetable at the hotel reception.

The location was perfect and the staff were all extremely helpful and very pleasant. The bed was very comfortable & the shower was lovely too.

The room was a bit small & the evening menu was quite limited.

Me and John loved the property, went to Cornwall for our mini honeymoon, staff are really friendly, Lisa on breakfast is brilliant 💕and the property is stunning.

A lovely clean modern hotel everything there you would need.very friendly staff made to feel welcome in in a short walk from porth beach.comfortable bed and nice food nothing to fault.

Great location and lovely staff. Our room was very well equipped and huge. Anj and the team were very welcoming and great hosts.

Ang was very welcoming and even thought it was not a peak time of the year everything I would have required was available and offered. The location was perfect for my next day seeing customers so would come again

The only complaint was the Wi-fi. It connected to my phone but not my iPad or laptop which was frustrating (but actually a welcome break from working!!) I believe the weather wouldn’t have helped on this occasion so most likely would normally be better.

Appearance and location

we were expecting a decent sized room for the price but ended up with a box room.

Arrived earlier(1030) than expected and went in to confirm if ok to leave car in carpark; found that we had been upgraded and the room was ready allowing us to unpack and make the most of the day without the thought that have to unload car when we returned. Room was very plush and clean; bathroom very modern with choice of shower or bath. Staff were very attentive and gave great advice on how to walk along the cliffs to the town centre. Lovely breakfast to set us up for the day. Definitely stay again and recommend anyone looking for somewhere just outside Newquay Centre but close enough to walk in.

No evening meal available due to out of season and demand which we could understand in the current climate

really lovely style fresh modern & clean. great size rooms and not too many of them, our room had a large balcony looking over the beach & cliffs which was amazing. the staff where extremely helpful & friendly.

just sad Resturant wasn’t open when we were there but that was to do with Covid
