Nice room with modern furniture which is well equiped, nice personnel, good breakfast.
Dust on the wardrobe, fact that I asked to change the towels on one of the days and it didn't happen.

Very good breakfast. Close to the city center. Lot of space in the shower box.
Small drawback: reception open a few hours per day. If you arrive late you need to contact them and they give you a code to get the keys. Everything worked in the end.

The hotel is very centrally located in Bonn. The room was small but comfortable. Breakfast had lots of choices.
Unfortunately our stay was disturbed by two incidents with the staff.
The first incident was when in the middle of breakfast with all guests around the receptionist found it necessary to inform us that we hadn't paid our bill yet (which we did directly pay at arrival). She insisted that this we lied and only then decided to check her invoices.
Unacceptable rude behaviour...
The second incident had to do with the parking place that we reserved. After coming home from a visit I found my reserved parking place was occupied by another car. I tried to inform the staff but everyone already had gone home (staff leaves officially at 15 in the afternoon, but on that Sunday already much earlier). So I parked my car in the other available spot. The next day -also during breakfast- the receptionist found it necessary to teach me a lesson that I could not park my car somewhere else, because "we don't also put other people in your room, when you're away". I didn't want to make a scene so I kept quiet, but was upset by their behaviour again.
These experiences gave me vibes like I was in a Fawlty Towers episode.

Very clean and comfortable room at a nice location close to the city centre.
We were somewhat surprised with the layout of the rooms and the arrangement of beds that provided no privacy in the end for a family with 2 kids.

Very good location, facilities good, even parking its 20 meters away, rooms clean and modern, AC available, description on the site its match. 9.0 its a good review.
Communication with the staff quite difficult (maybe english its not their straight point), courtesy could be improved for the reception.

The parking was really easy and the staff was friendly and gave us a great tipp to buy souvenirs, is not so easy to find them in Bonn.
The breakfast was good, but they charge 4euros to make an omelet! I though that is kind of ridiculous.
So again, the charge of 4euros for an omelet at the breakfast, beyond ridiculous.
The air conditioning did not work.

Family Room was equipped with Airconditioning which was great as it was +30 degrees. Bathroom was modern. The main bed was very nice, the children also slept good on the additional beds.
Reserved a garage and provided the details of the car. 4m70 would fit in the garage, upon arrival this was not the case and we parked on a reserved parking spot. As this was in between stop with luggage in the car this was not ideal. however the car was parked and nothing happend.
The bathroom needs additional cabin to place make-up, etc. Now you have to put everything on the floor. The rinsing glass in the bathroom was used and not cleaned. lucky the two drinking glasses were clean.
A reservation with 4 people and you get 1 50cl bottle of water and 2 glasses. You can go out to the city but as a welcome this is nice.
One thing I do not like anywhere, is the reporting of being short staffed. You always do your best and for me both reception and kitchen staff did there best.

Excellent breakfast. The location was also extremely good.
Something that is very common in Bonn hotels, there is no front desk for most of weekend days, and also after hours during the weekdays. This can create problems if arrival is during those times. Make sure you have the number combination to get the key from the box at the door.

It was a perfect hotel for a family city break. Connecting modern rooms, soundproof, great location in beautiful Bonn, close to everything interesting.
The hotel was perfect for us, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. However, as it does not have a lift it would not suit someone wit mobility issues.

The breakfast was good but during weekends it opens at 8 a.m . The room and facilities were clean and great location
The receptions closes at 3p.m until the following day. So i had to leave my key at a table i found next to the reception in the morning when i checked out.

The hotel was walking distance to the transport system, shopping areas and restaurant and churches.
The staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean. Very quiet and peaceful hotel
The downside to the hotel was that the free WIFI was awful. One could only get reasonable connection in the breakfast area and even that was not powerful enough for zoom meetings

I was in Bonn for a long stay of 12 nights, always challenging to find a good hotel. No regrets here, the hotel is fantastic and the team very ready to turn your stay the most pleasant as possible. My room at the third floor was very quite and perfect even to spend a full day working as it happened several time. The Hotel is very close to a metro/tram stop and walking distance to the center or the river for a walk. I got sick the second week and the team was very attentive and careful: very appreciated! Warm thanks to all!

Hotel Bonn City is located near the railwaystation and just next to the Old City, not far from the Kennedy Bridge across the Rhine. There is a beautiful park nearby and a bus/tram stop that connects you to any part of Bonn. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very nice and forthcoming. Frau Fassbender was especially kind to us!
A tea kettle would be a good addition to the coffee machine in the room. Otherwise everything was almost perfect.
