Poor quality of the apartment. We didn't have warm water the 2nd morning:(

The night receptionist was very engaged and tried to help us to sort out the issue we had with the so called 'deluxe' room.

The 'deluxe' room had an unbearable strong cigar smell. It was impossible to sleep in this room. From the moment of checking-in, we told the reception that this room could not be rented in this bad state. The staff admitted that the smell was very bad and that the former visitor had smoked inside the room (which is by the way forbidden according to Booking.com policy), unless clearly marked as a 'smoker room' ! We asked for another room for the night. The Director of the hotel did not even bother to talk to us in person to find a solution either in his hotel or in a neighbouring hotel. And the staff which runs the hotel, is not allowed to solve any problems for the clients. We had to rent by our own initiative another room in Taormina. In the end we had to pay a) an expensive deluxe room (in prepaid booking.com reservation), which we did not even use due to the sticky cigar smell, and b) another room in another hotel for the night. The Director of the hotel did not help us at all to find a solution or to show a fair treatment by reimbursing at least part of the costs. In this hotel if you have a problem you will be abandoned to yourself. No professionalism, no problem solving, no hospitality culture. You are just supposed to pay and to shut up with no service in return.

Close to city centre, swimming pool, kitchen.

Super nice people and very helpful with all questions I had. Suuuper tidy room, best view towards the pool area and ocean views, pool was nice and super tidy as well (got cleaned and checked every day). Definitely will go there again and can recommend highly for a stay in Taormina as you are just steps away from Porta Messina.

You need to know you are in the middle of town and it might be a bit louder as restaurants are around you, but for me that was perfect and ok.

Great location with plenty of good restaurants nearby. Cable car is very close, as are a couple of small supermarkets.

We paid quite a decent amount for our four nights at this property and were quite disappointed with our stay. Our morning flight from Naples to Catania was unfortunately cancelled and the only other flight we could book was a flight later in the afternoon, arriving into Catania at 18.30. When I advised the property we would be checking in later they told me they would charge us 20euro to check in late as they would need to pay a staff member to stay on. However this is not printed anywhere on the booking.com website, in fact it says it has a 24 hour reception. So my first impression of the place was already a negative one because of this. Upon checking in, we were taken to our room which was not at all what I had booked on the website. The room I booked stated a pool view, with patio and balcony. We were given a room toward the back of the property. The pool was no where in sight and the 'balcony' was a small 1m x 1m from the bedroom overlooking a parking lot of the next door property. The balcony floor was dirty, the floor had not been swept and the dirt blew onto the bedroom floor the minute we opened the door. Other than to hang towels on the railing or to have a smoke, this balcony would not be used by any guest. When I questioned the room, I was told that they do not guarantee a pool view, however this was clearly printed on my booking confirmation. Online the room also states pull out sofa bed, and again this was not available in our room. After questioning the staff member he told us we'd have to stay in the room for that night and would try to move us the following day. But of course there were no pool view rooms available for our entire stay so we ended up staying in this room for the 4 nights. We were offered a cheap bottle of white wine and a free baby crib for the four nights (normally costs 5euros per night) as compensation. Please be aware that the room descriptions on booking.com do not apply for all the rooms, even if it states so.

The property has a great location very close to everything you need on a holiday. The staff were lovely - we got a really warm welcome from Barbara along some tips for Taormina. The apartment has all utensils for self catering. The pool and jacuzzi are a great addition as well, perfect to cool yourself after a long day. Great value for money in Taormina!

I loved the location of these apartments. It is quite literally under 10 minutes distance from major Taormina attractions. The apartment has market and plenty of places to eat within a minute’s distance.

Even though apartments are located in a very good location the property lacked basic amenities for example none of the apartments have a kettle and have only 1 toilet which I found inadequate for the amount money paid. The staff however is very helpful and understand the situation that this is not in their hands. Overall the property is good but with small and basic amenities the stay could be well worth the money and comfortable overall.
