location is decent if you want to be near the airport before an early morning flight which clearly bumps up the price compared to hotels in the nicer resorts. good for a 1 night stay but get a bus accross to the main resorts of the Algarve

Very nice location . Good staff very friendly went above and behind for my stay . Food was good . Evening was good . Again staff was friendly always helped with my bad Portugues . Definitely would go back and Definitely would recommend

Unfortunately there was no kettle . But you can can go down stairs to get tea or coffee in the middle of the night . Staff very helpful

The staff was amazingly helpful and nice. I liked the slightly old-fashioned decor of the hotel (especially the lounge!), as well as the balcony with a lagoon view. We went there off-season, so the strip of the beach where the hotel was situated was really calm and beautiful, especially compared to somewhat loud and touristic centre of the city. The air quality was really something else and there are bird watching spots all around. The hotel restaurant offers breakfast and the "touristic menu" for dinner. I highly recommend the latter, especially if you're ready for copious amounts of good food.

Some reviewers mentioned the slight smell from the bathroom, and we noticed that too - the bathroom is clean, but I think the origin of the smell might be because of the form of the pipes used (my parents' bathroom has the same problem). It doesn't mean it's not clean, if you're keeping the lid down, the smell goes away. I'd say the breakfast was decent, but in the end we preferred getting coffee and pastries at the restaurant cafe - the coffee was way better in the cafe and we paid less.

Excellent location for the lovely beach. Good selection of bars, cafe's and restaurants nearby. The rooftop terrace with loungers / chairs was perfect for a relaxing time. Good links by bus to Faro / airport and an option to use the water boat to Faro.

Coffee making facility in room would have been good but the cafe in the hotel was reasonably priced with good selection of snacks etc

Perfect location if you want to go to the beach and great view on the laguna. Room was tidy and personnel very friendly.

The off season value was great! Can't beat the location, this place is the best.Love the snack bar with coffee. Its really the best place to stay in Faro flying in, super close to the airport, right on the beach, close to food, buses, and ferry into town.

Shower doesn't drain well when water on but does once you shut it off. Bed is very firm and springs can make some people sore. Noisy when live music on but just have to stay up late and adjust sleep schedule.

Old-style hotel, it felt like going back in time to the 1970s but that’s not such a bad thing. Location is nice, with a good view from the room and the breakfast room. Breakfast buffet was quite nice.

Bed was hard. Some aircraft noise in the morning due to the proximity to the airport.

We stayed in this hotel two months earlier and the room was very well equipped and everything about it was perfect. Now this time we got another room which was very old fashioned, not very well equipped and in general just not that nice.
