A night at the Palace of Versa i, excellent location, good food, beautiful hotel

The hotel is exceptional.

However, a year ago the quality of the camera was very good. This year the room I received was not up to the same standard.

The garden and swimming pool

We stayed as a family group of 10 people and had originally booked 3 rooms and we were accommodated on the same floor. The rooms were superb. Upon arrival I asked for one room change, I had booked a family room for 4 people but the view was over looking the highway side and not garden side. The staff were very helpful in finding an alternate solution so we ended up with 2 rooms connected with a corridor right at the corner with a huge balcony over looking the garden at a small cost change. The villa is very pretty and the grounds are well cared for with a lovely pool. The bedrooms were all unique and had a lovely charm, also very spacious. The outlet is very near by if you intend to go shopping.

The breakfast and the service at the restaurant did not match the property experience. This was our last stop after completing 3 other stays in various locations and this would rate at the bottom of the list in terms of service. The staff was lovely however they were under staffed for the amount of people being served.

Stunning mansion built in 1694 I believe. Superb restaurant on site. Quiet and beautifully decorated.
