Very good location. Friendly staff. Good restaurant in the lobby for a cheap and fast but well tasting breakfast. Shower had hot water. Good price.

The room was very HOT! There was no aircon, only a fan, but in the month of may, this is not enough to sleep comfortably! Unfortunately I got very little sleep as I was lying on top of the bed and sweating a lot due to the heat. Wifi was spotty in my room. Couldn't connect phone and laptop at same time. Maybe this hotel is better to choose in colder months.

Warm shower, clean bed, good location

Lots of noise until late hours, annoying beeps and tv sounds which made it hard to sleep. Uncomfortable bed. Very hot - the fan did not work well. Please take only the rooms with AC.

Location was good being close to the cathedral and not far from ADO terminal. Bed was comfortable and bedding had crisp sheets, towel changed everyday with soap

Not a nice smell in the lobby. Very narrow stone staircase going to first floor. Room door, I am pretty sure could be opened with credit card. Ceiling is the roof of the hotel. Concrete wall in front of shower room and halfway across the window of the bedroom. Sink hasn't been cleaned for a long time and plughole smelled badly of drain.

Hotel San Jose is right in downtown at the plaza grande main city square and next door to historical city hall. You can walk anywhere from the great location. The rooms are very large with 12 or 14 feet high ceilings and comfortable beds. It was a really historic building.

The internet needs to be made better - sometimes I didn’t have internet signal
