We were met on arrival by our host who explained the facilities available, ie use of kitchen, tea & coffee, pool & outside seating. She kindly provided water & drinks for our first night. Our room in the eaves was large, clean & bright with characterful central beams. Lovely views from the sloping windows. A substantial buffet breakfast with an excellent choice of fresh fruit as well as cooked meats, cheeses & boiled eggs. Great location just 1.5km from the town of Makkum where there are several shops & restaurants. Also a little further to the marina & beach. Secure parking.

Breakfast was fresh with lots of fruit and local produce. Lovely eating area, lots of room and could eat outside.

Nothing came up up as not pleasant.

The room was very comfortable and spacious. The communal kitchen and living room is a great size, and can easily be used by all guests without any feeling of intruding on others. The atmosphere in the B&B is so calm the whole time. The garden is amazing, very easy to unwind to the sound of nature in that garden. The host is extremely welcoming. We loved our stay at Piaam State.

The absence of tv in room

The farm is located at a calm place, we got a big room. It is very relaxing, you can take long walks and the nature is beautiful. Antoinette was very open and helpful, served an amazing breakfast. You have access to tea and coffee all day long. The kids loved all the animals and the “skelter” that we got to use around the farm.

There is no tv in the room but only in the shared room. The shower, the floors could have been a bit cleaner.

Everything! We stayed in the privet house. It was well equipped. We had Everything we needed, the house was clean, and beautiful! We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!
