Shower in the room without an extra door which was not mentioned in the description. No lift available Called before and they told us that breakfast would be until 11. Unfortunately that was not true. We were there at 10.05 and there was a very unfriendly woman telling us that breakfast is closed and that the time 10 would be mentioned everywhere. Well, we did not read it anywhere. Once we walked away she was talking badly about us with a man sitting there. For us the first and last time Ibis

Ok for a one night stay. Located right at a highway, so you can continue on your way quickly.

All was as expected.

The lady at the front desk was nice.

It was dirty. The toilet water stunk, there were markings on the walls and in some places boogers, the TV remote was dirty, and in general the place is just worn down and needs to be renovated.

The shower was pretty good as per the usual, the only thing I was able to get in one hour spent in the room.

I had lost my main credit card in Dusseldorf, and my second card didn't work on their check in machine. However I did have cash, there wasn't any secondary way to check in and the helpline didn't help either. I spent the whole night sitting outside the hotel, in -3 barely covered. And had a meeting the next day. Not only did I fall sick but, it was emotionally and physically exhausting to spend the whole night outside, while actually having a reservation and means to pay for that reservation

There was a very strong smoke smell in the room and a blinking/broken light which was not possible to turn off. It was not terrible, but also would never go back or recommend.

Staff was very nice. Room was clean and really valuable for the price. Fair breakast and coffee next morning.

Acknowledging it is a budget hotel (it was the first time visiting Ibis Budget), it felt somehow too small. For one night is perfect as resting point, but I would probably not stay more than overnight though.

Breakfast, there was all you needed for a quick breakfast before the journey went on again. All i all as a sleepover/stopover hotel it gets 5 out of 5
