Close to cafes and the beach

A bit noisy

Comfy Stay, Older Hotel that has had a nice renovation. Comfy beds, fresh clean small room, view of the bay, close to Train, great cafes and we had delicious meal at The Sandy Grillhouse, omg that Eye Fillet was spot on, wish i had a few more bites left. Creme brulee oh yum. Free onsite parking. Free soft drink and bottle water and pretzels in mini bar. We will be back for certain, perhaps I should not tell everyone.

Perhaps a lift access could be handy and oh an Aldi Pod machine would be good for coffee addicts like us lol. Dont worry i had my plunger and Vittoria coffee with me.

The room size was great for a nightcap. I found the location to be nice and relaxing and not too far away from the city but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Beach within walking distance and some nice cafes within walking distance to get some breakfast and coffee. The room facilities were great, mini bar was complimentary and restocked daily. Tea, coffee & milk also provided with a kettle & bar fridge. I love that room service was available for dinner so we could enjoy the food while having a quiet night in. I’d recommend and will definitely stay again. The housekeeper was lovely & so we’re all of the staff we dealt with during our stay.

The only things I could complain about but it wouldn’t affect me from staying in the future, the fan in the bathroom was very weak so the bathroom fogged up really easily, I think having no windows in the bathroom the fan needs to be a lot stronger. We’re going in to 2024 and the tv isn’t a smart tv, it’d be nice to be able to sign in and watch Netflix away from home. And lastly upon arrival the staff member I dealt with wasn’t aware that our room key could be used to enter the building, she had told us that once we go upstairs and the pub closes we will not be able to get back in if we went out. She did provide us with a jug of soft drink and a jug of water after we expressed needing to get some drinks from the service station. The issue was resolved the next morning upon speaking with another staff member that assured me if I go out I can get back in :)

Comfy beds, well positioned hotel. Clean and well maintained.

Fan in bathroom didn’t work very well and tiles on floor became slippery from steam. No lift.

The view over the ac units outside and the ac noise

Location was great just a few meters walk to train station. Bristro was large and plenty of options 👍. There also cafes etc near by as well. I definitely would say stay here as I will be again 👍👍

The stairs, the need a lift .And it would be great to go to that big bistro and get breaskfast and look out at the beach.

everything was pretty good but checkin wasn't handled that well, made to feel like a complete nuisance after driving 5 hrs.

Everything at your doorstep here from the beach, coles, cafes, restaurants and train station Great place to come for summer ☀️

Besides having a little wardrobe, would have liked to have some clothes wall hooks to hang our coats as we walked in. The shower didn't have much water pressure. That's all. 😃
