Centrale locatie met mooi uitzicht over de stad!

Absolutely THE best possible location in the center of Bologna’s old town, surrounded by amazing restaurants, shops, cafes, and historic sites! The view from the two terraces are spectacular! The roof terrace is absolutely stunning and very romantic at night. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen, while small, is very adequate. Besides, there are far too many great places to eat in the neighborhood to bother with cooking. However, the option is there for those that wish to buy fresh produce and pasta and have a romantic dinner at home. There is a small Nespresso machine, but be careful to buy the correct pods! There are 3 sizes, this is the middle size. Please note that the elevator is very small. only 2 people can fit - without much luggage. There are also a lot of stairs to climb after getting off the elevator and to access the roof deck. There are also stairs within the apartment. So this is not meant for anyone with difficulty walking or using stairs. I found it a great way to get added exercise into my day. The bathroom is a bit small and is lacking an outlet for the hair dryer, you need to plug it into the kitchen outlet. The bathroom outlet is only for low voltage items. The washing machine is small. A new washing machine is arriving soon, but you will still need to hang dry your clothes. We found the towel warmer works well for drying clothes. There isn’t a sofa in the unit, so you must relax on the bed. I think a small 2 person loveseat in the kitchen area below the wine chiller would make a nice addition. Overall a wonderful experience and highly recommended if you want to be in the center of everything!

Spiral staircase

We loved Altana Bologna. Its rooftop location - the spiral staircase access - makes it unique and beautiful. It’s modern, comfortable, well-equipped and the location in the centre of old Bologna is incredible. Finally, the hosts are responsive, kind and gracious. We plan on returning again next year and highly recommend.

La posizione è eccezionale tre minuti a piedi e sei a Piazza Maggiore sotto al palazzo c’è una salumeria anzi una boutique di salumi tipici bolognesi tanti ristoranti. Un punto extra lo acquista il balconcino all’interno dell’appartamento da dove si vede la torre dell’orologio tutta la via e dei ristoranti la movida non ho trovato scomoda neanche la scala a@perché veramente Piccola se non si hanno dei bagagli e enormi si sale tranquillamente

La pulizia e la manutenzione dell’appartamento lasciano un po’ desiderare e un appartamento davvero carino con tutti i comfort all’interno abbiamo trovato un po’ di tutto comprese le cialde per la macchina del caffè ma sia la manutenzione di alcune cose tipo il bidet sia la pulizia in generale anche delle pentoledelle posate lascia un po’ desiderare

We loved this apartment. Great location right in the centre of the old town with everything on your doorstep. Especially one of the best bars/delis by the front door. Apartment was comfortable, with very good aircon and cooking utensils etc. The two terraces are the star of the show with incredible views and a lovely place to sit and relax or sunbathe on the roof.

We had a few issues checking in and communication could have been better. We had to wait for quite a long time, however, the host did make up for this on check out with allowing us extra time to stay in the apartment. If you have lots of big bags the stairs might be tricky but we managed it & 100% worth it for the views.
