A really good breakfast. The fresh fruit salads are exceptional. Nice bread too.

I found Glendower House to be an excellent B and B, the rooms were exceptionally clean and well presented, the breakfast was excellent and the host, Peter, was very welcoming and friendly. I would definately stay here again.

The location was just off the mail shopping street and handy for local transport. The host was welcoming, the breakfast choices extensive and wholesome! Unusually for a guest house/b&b, there was a small fridge in the room which was very useful. A fresh bottle of water was supplied for each of us every day, and (oh joy!) FRESH MILK for the plentiful supply of tea, coffee, etc. So much nicer than those little pots of long-life milk.

We had no complaints.

The breakfast was more than adequate with a wide selection of cereals, pastries etc. All cooked breakfasts cooked to order and served by a very genial host - nothing too much trouble.

My second stay here. Breakfast was great. Excellent options for cooked, continental, fruit and cereals. Room was very clean, roomy and comfortable. Peter and Katryna were excellent hosts. Would definitely stay again.

Glendower House was a good location for us to explore Exmoor. Rooms were comfortable and the breakfast did not disappoint. Peter was an excellent host.

There is a garden at the back which would have made a lovely area for afternoon tea or just for relaxation after hiking the Exmoor. It just needed a little effort in this area and Glendower House would have be an excellent B&B.

Amazing breakfast banquet. Excellent friendly service. Very welcoming loads of extras in the room fresh milk in our own fridge also bottled of water and elderflower water. Loads of drinks on the tray in our room

The location is superb, a short walk to the town and beach. The hotel is super clean, the breakfast is great and Peter is a wonderful host. All at a good price!

Nice place to stay, welcoming and helpfull proprietors, breakfast is excellent and room is comfortable. This is my third stay here and I will be back later in the year. No complaints. 🙂

Spotlessly clean and well presented. Great breakfasts. Just a short walk to the sea front. Fresh milk in a fridge in the room to make tea. Lovely big room. Comfy bed.

The property was a short walk from the town centre. The owners were very friendly. The breakfast choice was great and the food was very well cooked. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed. There was even a small fridge in the room as well as tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and toiletries. It was also very good value. Better quality than a Premier Inn.

Peter was very friendly and welcoming, Glendower House is in a quite location with minimal traffic and only a few mins walk to the town and beach. There is also a carpark at the rear of the property as well as plenty of space to park on the road. Peter was also happy for us to have an early breakfast on the morning of our departure, nothing was too much trouble for him and his wife.

Could not fault either the owners or Glendower House.

Comfortable clean, excelent breakfast and great host. A teapot in the room and a fridge which were great additions to a lovely stay.

We were given a warm welcome when we arrived at Glendower House. 5* Accommodation kept to high standard of repair inside and outside. Spotlessly clean throughout, beautiful bedlinen and really comfortable beds. Tea/coffee making facilities with fresh milk each day in fridge. Plenty of room in wardrobe for hanging clothes. Fluffy white towels and good shower power. Room 7 has our name on it for another visit later this year. Breakfast Room with white tablecloths and 'proper' napkins. Variety of juices, cereals, fresh fruit, dried fruit, yogurts etc. Extensive breakfast menu, beautifully served and enjoyed. Very convenient, about 5 minute walk to shops etc, and 7 minute walk to beach. Car parking a bonus. Peter always willing to answer questions and give advise when asked. Thank you Peter and Katryna for a wonderful 4 days, you even organised sunny weather for us!!! Vivian and Bill, and friends Marie and Mick (room 12)
