The hotel is in a great location. Beautiful view of the bay, private beach, clean sea. Very nice staff. All issues that arose were resolved quickly and easily. Tasty food with a view of the sea. Breakfast is traditional Turkish. Quite a wide variety of food. Sometimes ordered dinners and lunches from the menu. Everything was delicious. I would like to say a special word about fettuccini - they are superb 👌

The furniture in the room was outdated, the headboard was broken. But it's hard at this point to blame the hoteliers for not updating the rooms, given their situation in the last few years. All this was compensated by the beautiful view from the balcony

Strange back-alley entrance

we plan to stay 1-2 nights, but everything were so amazing… that we changed our plans and stay in the hotel 4 nights. can’t leave because fantastic comfortable place. stuff so much friendly and helpful. we left our luggage in lock room in hotel for travel in Turkey and after that we plan to come back in the hotel again.

Everything in the hotel are perfectly good: fast check in with answer for all our questions. Clean! Very very clean comfortable room with nice view. Cozy balcony-terrace. Sheets, pillows, mattress - all of this a level of a five-star hotel. Pure pool with bubbles of jacuzzi. Here are Rich tasty Turkish breakfast. And what the service during breakfast!!!! The man with name Bekir is perfect, he served our breakfast every morning and was very helpful. The hotel’s territory like a small garden: a lot of green, lemons and another trees, bushes of flowers, area for the open air breakfast few meters from sea, restaurant, kind of bar with hot water for tea during day. Own narrow beach with thatched canopy along the shade and sun loungers and good sand.

The staff were racist, rude and ruined our vacation letterly 1st they didnt speak one word other than turkish and wouldn't talk via google translate n were very rude and not friendly at all 2nd i asked them to iron my dresses and the cleaning lady returned them the second day all burnt and even took the money without saying any thing or apologizing 3rd they kept changing the prices of food and drinks each day 4th the same cleaning lady stole 800 turkish lera and when i complained that i lost my money and that i counted it just before that so im sure , n after they checked the cameras they told me they found a video of the cleaning lady entering my room when she shouldnt , they told me they'll handle it n get back to me , the cleaning lady stormed our room screaming and being violent that we really were scared ( i got a video of this incident) n when i went to the reception they told me they can do nothing (this was on our check out day conveniently) Plus they charged us extra for our pcr test than we already agreed on before Many other stuff happened but these are the worst of them !

The style of the hotel’s building is very nice, trees all around the rooms with very nice balconies overlooking the sea.

Everything looks like from the first sight. The room is big enough - we got two with two single beds each, the balcony, nice bathroom. The a/c worked fine in one room. The pool and beach area are nice. There is a couple of big dogs in the hotel area, just so you know as some people are afraid of the dogs.

Even though you pay for a stay in this hotel, which means you can use the beach, sunbeds, and tables and chairs available in the hotel outdoor area, they have these crazy expansive sunbeds which you have to pay 300 TL for additionally. The outdoor area with chairs and tables that are advertised as a place to relax available to all guests is actually their little restaurant, so even though you're staying in this hotel, you can't use it unless you buy something from their menu. Which we did, and waited for a simple pizza for over 40 min and then they forgot to bring the tea we asked for 2 times. They also do not allow bringing drinks and food to the beach, which again, as someone who already paid for a stay in their hotel, you should be allowed to do. Once, we got our own beer to the beach (not to the pool area) and the waiter guy came to us telling us we cannot do this. However, I believe this is completely unacceptable - 1) no signs about this on the beach and 2) we were on the sunbeds that are included in the hotel price, it's not a restaurant part. There was no fridge in one of the rooms so we had to ask for it, the fridge in the other room was barely working. When we had some issues with the conditioner and went to the reception to ask someone to look at it (which was around 9 a.m.), they actually sent someone at 7 p.m., so I guess suffering from a heat for a whole day without the air conditioner is just a part of the whole "amazing experience" There is just one power socket in the whole room with a triple power adaptor. and it's not near the bed. There was not even a bottle of water in the room. No kettle in the room.

The room was too small and too old, it really needs renovations, the bed mattress is not comfortable at all, bathroom barely fits one person and no hot water was running in our shower.

The hotel has a nice out door area with a clean nice pool and a cafe on the beach with very reasonable prices.

I would like to express my gratitude for the Gumbet hotel where I felt myself very comfortable. Staff are very friendly and provided everything which I requested during my long stay. Especially, I would like to refer my gratitude to Metin for all his kind and timely help and support, and room was very clean thanks for Aifar. Last days was a little sad to leave this wonderful place where everything was so great. Hope will come back and stay in future.

The location was nice, has its own pool and private beach, customer service was 100%. Many stores around and also a beach club downhill. The room was okay with an amazing view of the sea. Very price-friendly hotel as well.

The air conditioner in my room was probably not working , didn’t find any remote. But this wasn’t an issue since I spent most of my time outside.

It was a great hotel to stay in Bodrum. Nice terrace and restaurant near the sea. The stuff is really good. Beach is comfy and pool is nice. I loved our stay there!
