Limited tea bags in room

Despite the unusual decor and people smoking in the bar/ lounge area the bed was really comfortable and although no air con it was cool enough to have the windows open and it wasn’t too noisy! The breakfast was great, good choice and in the dining area with a great view! The transfer to and from the station was handy and easy to organise, the staff were very helpful.

We loved everything about our stay, from the lovely room upgrade, with beautiful views, to the fine dining with great food. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We would love to come back and stay longer in the future...... Thank you :)

We had a beautiful view of the lake from our room. Breakfast was nice in a lovely Lakeview dining room.

Beautiful throughout and the inclusive breakfast was first class We had a free upgrade to a room with a lake view and the window views were amazing Very convenient for exploring the lake at St Moritz

it was exceptional only minor criticism that the cups for hot drinks supplied in our room were really too small

The location needs to walk about 15 minutes from the train station.. Small room size

We loved our stay at Soldnella. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Spa was very nice. Breakfast was great. Service was outstanding. Bar has a lot of ambiance. Views from the bar and restaurant are amazing. Hotel is only 5 minutes walking from the center. We would definitely recommend Soldanella.

people unapologetically allowed to smoke in the main bar. had to escape with my drink to the lobby. nobody cared. same thing on the following morning - this time including management/staff. so no point in complaining: it’s their culture.

Don’t know it is very far from train station and go up ,all hill road hard to walk with luggages . We should know ahead to have shuttle go to hotel . It was much better to take their shuttle bus back to train station next day.

the view from the room was incredible.

it is an old hotel with old hotel charm, but you can see the furniture is turning from old to run down, the bathroom was completely remodeled and spacious. As in many places in Europe , no air conditioning. The queen size bed was just two singles put together. We were staying for just one night to rest after traveling on the Glacier Express , so it was adequate for our needs. We did enjoy the lift, no inside door and enough space so that it gave me an excuse to hug my wife….lol

Nice property with a beautiful view overlooking the lakes and mountains ( not for all rooms but at least the breakfast area was with superb views) . It is situated uphill around 10 min walk from the station. Room was small but clean and comfortable . Breakfast options were decent in the morning.

Staffs were not very friendly, didn’t even offer or asked to take a seat since we arrived 20 mins earlier. Room facilities did not include coffee making options and only 2 sachet of teas have been provided.

This hotel provides the great value as it's quite close to train station (walkable distance) and come with affordable rate (if compare to many hotels around St.Moritz). We got room upgrade, this is unexpected for us. Room is super clean and cozy. All staffs are also kind and friendly. Especially a guy at breakfast room, he's so kind and very helpful.

1) Pillow is too soft for us. But we found similar in other hotels we stayed here as well. 2) This one may not relate to hotel but would like to add as note for other. There is a better way to walk between St.Moritz train station to hotel (especially if you carry a luggage). At train/bus stations, you go left there is a way go thru parking lot and go up with elevator to upper section of road. This is much more convenient than drag a luggage along the main road. There is no clear sign at station!
