A unique and very special hotel. We went to the area because we read such incredible things about this hotel and were very glad we did. It's a breathtaking building with only 5 rooms, so you rarely if ever see other guests. Our room had beautiful views of the sea and mountain, so there were some lovely sunsets. Rooms are large and beautifully furnished and the hotel has a pool and lovely garden area to sit. Service is friendly and helpful. You can park directly outside the hotel for free and once there you can stroll around the beautiful town to see the beautiful architecture or gardens or to enjoy the many delicious places to eat

Hotel Alhambra is an amazing place. Art gallery and museum with relaxing garden where you can hear only birds singing :). Spectacular bathroom. Very nice, communicative and knowledgeable personnel. Perfect!

Breakfast was typical continental buffet, which was ok. However there are so many lovely restaurants locally that filling up at breakfast is wasted!

Brilliant location, beautifully decorated throughout with many period features. Our bedroom was huge with a brilliant views over the coast and up to the volcano. Nice pool area if you need it, with small pool and outside garden for relaxation.

The host, knowledge of the property and art and very helpful.

The hire is just as beautiful as the photos! Our 4 year old said it was her favorite hotel of our holiday because it was like staying in a castle. The location is great for exploring the town with free parking at the door. We had an amazing sea view and super spacious room and bathroom. I had my doubts that this place was for kids but they were very accommodating and she had her own bed and we felt very welcome. The small garden is lovely and the small pool was cool but still nice to have.

Friendliness of owner, exceptional cleanliness and care over COVID for us the guests. Superb facilities and bedroom an en-suite were perfect. So good booking again for later in the year.

Very beautiful historical building. The room and bathroom are big. We only had a shower. The bed is comfy. We appreciate the minibar with very decent prices. The breakfast was very simple - toast bread, jam, butter, some cheese, ham, fruit, good orange juice and coffe - but lovely. Try to reach the table in a window spot - there is a beautiful Teide view. The pool area is nice, water is clean and refreshing. The director (owner?) is a very nice person, he told us a brief history of a building at arrival.

The room will need to be refurbished a little. I would recommend to give the customers an exact info about check-in - there was an information on booking that the check-in is between appx. 13-20 hour, no gap, we came there at 17 and the hotel was closed and anybody inthere. We tried to make a phonecall but our mobile phones didn’t work so we had to wait till 18 o’clock because it was written on the door that the hotel is closed at appx. 13-18 o’clock. Well, we waited only for an hour, but waiting for 4 hours would be really unpleasant.

We had the most wonderful time at Hotel Alhambra. Our big, light-flooded room had a beautiful view. We enjoyed both, sea side view and also a lovely Orotava city view. The huge bathroom including sea side view with big bathtube and additional shower is amazing. The bed was super comfortable. The hotel and the interior are unique with great art pieces! At the private breakfast area where we enjoyed a good breakfast, we had a fantastic view on the Teide. During arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Jorge, the owner, who gave us a quick private tour, explaining some of the art pieces and paintings. He was always available for requests and very helpful. The Hotel is located in the Centre of La Orotava, walking distance to Cafés, small restaurants and historical buildings. However parking was no problem, ether in front of the hotel or in nearby streets. The check in and out was also very easy. All in all it was a very special and fantastic experience and we would for sure come again. Thank you for the great time!

This is a charming boutique hotel in a quiet street in a interesting town. The house has historical and artistic interests, excellently explained by the very helpful patron. Due to Covid we were the only guests, so felt as if we were visiting a well-off friend, rather than staying in a hotel!

Small quibble, but maybe better WiFi signal in the bedrooms.
