Sehr ruhig gelegene Anlage mit wunderschöner Fauna. Im Garten spazieren Pfauen. Tolle Ausstattung mit Antiquitäten. Freundliches Personal.
Frühstück war etwas dürftig, aber ausreichend. Brot war altbacken.

The site is a bit rundown but is peaceful and has beautiful gardens throughout the property. The staff was friendly and were ready to please our requests, but could benefit from further training to offer a more professional service.
The towels were threadbare, the shower's temperature was either hot or scalding hot, and the water remained on the floor of the shower due to clogging. The availability of amenities were inconsistent: some rooms had or lacked tvs, mini fridges, or space heaters. Some furniture is in urgent need of repair/upgrade.

Wonderful, large property that was lovely to walk around. Close to the airport for viewing the Nazca lines. There is not much to do around, but there is a restaurant on site.
The bed was a little uncomfortable. And the price was a bit much for one night.

dream-like place - premises a mix of an antique hacienda with a museum; just wonderful gardens; nice pool; production of own pisco and wine! Staff amazing, especially look out for Juan Carlos, the barman

Beautiful surroundings and antique feel. staff was very kind
Amateurish feel. Room for kids was not ready, check out bill had not itemised GST.

the hotel is beautiful and very well located
as the hotel is a little old, and it should be at least partially renovated, some of the equipment is not up the standard of the rest, such as the shower (water has very little pressure)

The rooms may outdated but they were very clean.
Beautiful collection of craft arts like textiles, ceramics and beautiful paints.
Customer service and false advertising. They are NOT 4 stars.
Front desk employees are not properly trained, they are usually rude and tired, probably underpaid.
You have to fight for baby equipment. They don’t have enough cribs o high chairs available. I have to place the crib myself in the room, staff won’t help you.
They make us stay next to the kitchen where it was very loud because cooks will be yelling all the time.
Dogs were off-leashed everywhere, in the dining room close to the food, hanging out in the kitchen, swimming pool areas. They may not aggressive, but they will bark and scare some children.

This is the most authentic place I've ever stayed at in Peru. It is an old monk monastery converted into a hotel. The property has a variety of things to do including ping pong, darts, pool, bar, restaurant. Part of the hotel is a museum with artifacts donated from people in the community. They have a local duck that wags his tail when you talk to him and they are working on renovations, but all are incredible improvements on an amazing foundation. My dad already has plans to come back and help the manager around the grounds. I can't say enough about what we liked about the place. Also if you are looking for a wedding venue, this is totally the place for it!
It's really tough to say. If there were any problems it would be fixed. You should know that Google maps will take you a back way in and yes a dirt road is the correct pathway. There are plans with the city to pave the road to the hotel.

Beautiful historic hacienda surrounded by lush, ancient gardens. Charmingly rustic and oozing atmosphere. Excellent service from very professional team and a very friendly owner Enrique.
The rooms are basic but comfortable and spotlessly clean. The entire place is decorated by an amazing collection of pre-hispanic textiles and early colonial 'Cuzqueña School' art.
Good hotels are few and far between in regional Peru so this is a rare find. It is even rarer to stay in an original 16th century Hacienda turned monastery, decorated with much of its original furniture and artwork.
Everything's a bit run down but that adds to the charm, so it's actually a positive.

This Hotel is my favorite in Peru, if not in the entire world ! It is truly a magical, Old World oasis in literally a Peruvian desert. Practically, it is the closest hotel to the Nazca Lines Airport, and to the Archaeology site, Cahuachi. From a vacation perspective, it reflects the rich, cultural heritage and history of Peru in a way that any other hotel can't ever do. The land and converted convent hotel buildings date back to the late 1600's. The atmosphere is amazing and extremely relaxing. Remember, if you stay here you are not rooming in a high rise, modern hotel in Dubai. You will be in Nazca, Peru. The rooms are old, but wonderfully charming and rustic, and very clean. Some have televisions, but my room did not, which was great. Peacocks and other birds freely walk around the grounds. If you like Antiquities, Nazca Textiles, Ceramics, and Colonial paintings are everywhere. Some are over a thousand years old. The entrance to the hotel is down a long, dirt road and you have to knock on a large green door to gain entrance. But, on the other side of the wall is "Peruvian Paradise". I am not exaggerating. The Ownership and Staff are extremely friendly and sincerely care that you have an enjoyable, carefree stay. The on-site restaurant opens early, has a great breakfast offering, and is open late into the evening for dinner. The food was excellent. My doctor friend and I ate all our meals at the Hotel over two days, and never went into town to try any other restaurant, because the food at the hotel restaurant was so good. The pool is very clean and there are outdoor chairs and indoor couches everywhere to just slow down and truly relax on. The online pictures of Hotel Majoro do not completely reflect how great the overall experience and value of staying here, truly is. I plan to return to Peru and stay here for over a week sometime in the future, only because my experience staying at Hotel Majoro was so fantastic.
The water pressure in my bathroom shower was sometimes a little low.

The breakfast and the pool
The fact that we could still use the hotel facilities after checkout
We arrived late at night and indicated this on Booking.com. Despite stating on the website that there's a 24h reception, there was no one when we arrived at the hotel. The gate was closed and we had to push it open. There was no one at the reception either. Eventually we looked everywhere until we heard someone watching TV and opened the door, so we found the concierge. He explained that the receptionists go home at 23h, and he quickly fixed us a room. This is not ok! The receptionists knew that we were coming and still didn't inform us via mail nor did they leave a key. The room itself was not 4 star worthy. There was no hot water and in fact, there was almost no water at all coming out the shower. The next morning however, we did enjoy the breakfast, the view and the pool. At night we ordered and paid for a taxi at the reception, and specifically asked it to be on time as we had a bus to catch. However, the taxi was 15 minutes late and there was no communication on this from the reception. All in all, this hotel has great potential but lacks a lot of professionalism. The receptionists were often not at their post, the information on Booking should be updated and the receptionist could do a little effort to try and explain in English when my Spanish fails me.

Nice outdoors and gardens.
Beware that from Booking price, the hotel charged additional 18% VAT and 10% services tax. Had Pisco Sours at the bar which were pretty bad. Rooms are cozy but old, and not so well maintained.

Everything. The staff, the owners, the room, property, decor, pool... it was all fantastic. If we come back through Nazca again there's no chance we're staying any place else. I wish we could bring this property with us for all of our stays in Peru!
I can't really think of anything we didn't like.

Great place, quiet old style hotel. Lovely gardens.
