Traveling as a family of five, with three kids under seven, we loved the tatami room. We could see Fuji from the room window. The location was great to the station and plenty of places to eat. We only stayed one night because we were just passing through but it was worth it.

The traditional Japanese room (Fuji san) was beautifully designed and had a nice view to Mt. Fuji.

the hotel is located near the main road, so a little noisy at night. Although the room was quite spacious, the bathroom seemed small and a little jammed. There were no hand-soap in the bathroom.

The location is right next to the station, so it's easy access to transit, be it buses, taxi or train. The staff was helpful and friendly. There wasn't any breakfast. The restaurant onsite is lunch and dinner only. Best breakfast nearby is a 10 minute walk to the Aeon mall. Futon was simple but comfortable. Kids enjoyed the atmosphere of the place.

There were stains on the wall that didn't appear to be cared for. Beyond this, there was charcoal in the rooms, but the cleaner used by the staff leaves a strange odor behind. The room was dated, but added to the sense of 'an older establishment'. There was an extra room in our stay-room which would have been valuable space, but it was converted to storage and stuffed with extra furniture. No locks or anything, so my kids tried to jump in and hide amongst the storage.

The room was the prefect size for our family. The linen was so comfortable. Check in was fast and easy. The extra parking for a higher rate was literally right next to the hotel which was so convenient.

The heater seemed to turn off in the middle of the night but we may have just not known how to use it properly!
