Very nice hotel, next to the seaside, with nice restaurant a la carte and breakfast. Clean and elegant. Kind of expensive but worthy.

- Enjoyed the New England feel of the architecture and interior. Reminded me of Martha’s Vinyard. - Love the location on the water. - Cozy room. - Nice staff in the reception. - Great breakfast at table looking out on the water where some tough guests went for morning swims on the cold, rainy, blustery day.

- Spa facilities ok, but not as top notch as I had expected. Downstairs part with no windows felt a bit gloomy. For spa I would rather go back to SonSpa. - The trout in the restaurant 801 Oslofjord was a disappointment. Way too salty (and I generally have to add salt, so making it too salty for me is difficult), which ruined the dining experience.

Having visited this hotel several times, it has become our "go to" place to relax away from home. Good facilities and calm atmosphere (away from the E6).

Covid-19 has unfortunately forced many businesses to compromise to stay running and to meet expectations. As a visitor who has visited several times, you notice the differences. Booking times into the spa is an unfortunate obligation and compromise, but I think the breakfast buffet can be increased in selection.... A lot of choices have disappeared and I do not know if the current health crisis is a good enough excuse. I hope the buffet returns to its former self when this annoying virus is beaten.
