Beachfront location doesn’t get much better. Wonderful staff.
Beds could have been more comfortable. No AC in rooms.

Honestly, not much Not the caliber of property we are accustomed to.
The property is run down. The bar located next door to the property was loud each night until 12:00 midnight. Made sleeping nearly impossible.

The location is perfect, it feels quiet and secluded but is a simple walk down the beach to the rest of town.

Super well-equipped kitchen, everything you could possibly need. Coffee maker and coffee. The walls were thick enough that we couldn’t hear the people next door. Perfect location, right on the beach. Lots of loungers and shade. Boogie boards available to use. The pool was great for cooling off. Jay was very helpful with great recommendations. He arranged a lovely potluck and grilled mahi-mahi for everybody one night.

The location was great as beach front, which is rare in the area. Lots of palms and sunbeds and hammocks in the shade so you can enjoy the sea/ beach view without frying. I am sure it would be perfect for lots of people.

For a family with 2 youngish children (9 and 11), it was a bit far out to walk into town for breakfast, lunch and dinner, given the heat. The were were self catering facilities a room had kitchen but we wanted to use restaurants. If breakfast were provided it would remove that issue.
To accommodate 4 of us, the 4th be was a trundle which when pulled out left little room for maneuver between rooms, meaning the bed got really dirty as we had to step over/ on it.
Also the rooms had mesh over open windows, which for us with quite difficult children, meant we felt we lacked privacy and that we were disturbing other guests. On the plus side good air circulation.
Also had an issue with a red ant infestation one night.
The room was clean on the surface but could have been cleaner under beds etc

Amazing location on the beach - stunning sunsets - easy going vibes. The rooms are large and well equipped. Will be going back as long as prices stay the same. The owner is very helpful and keeps the hotel immaculate. Thank you for the wonderful stay. Highlight of our trip.

the owner was rude and condescending. would hear owning swearing when doing maintenance work at 0630 am. was not a relaxed vibe for family and same sex couple as we could not understand why owner was so rude to us

l loved the location and Jay kept the property grounds immaculate. I loved the semi communal aspect of the outdoor pool area. I also loved that the property was next to Bar las Palmitas!
A small detail but I would have liked a table and chair in the kitchenette area inside the room.

The setup is awesome, rooms surrounding a little pool looking out to ocean, powerful wifi signal serving a great grove of palm trees between pool and beach, complete w lounge chairs. Could have stayed a week!

Location location location.. just unbeatable and package makes perfect sense if you are looking for simplicity and decency, in a stunning setting. Amacas and chairs by the beach are great. The host is very good too.
Facilities are basic, no air-conditioning, no TV set, worn out stove, beds, etc. It can be fun if you look for something quaint but not so much fun if you travel with someone with special needs.
