The apartment is located in the port area where busses and supermarkets are close. Also the red history museum and Dubrovnik Beer Company are really close and worth a visit. The apartment itself is quite big and the fact that you can park in the building’s parking garage is a big plus. Ivona the host gave us a good overview of all things in Dubrovnik and how to get around.

The interior of the apartment is a bit outdated and could use a refresh. The beds are also a bit too soft to our liking. The walls are really thin so you can hear the neighbors talk when you’re in the living room. There was a weird smell in the kitchen (could be from neighbors cooking) and bedroom (could not figure out wat it was). WiFi connection was not great. But the biggest negative was the really unwelcoming cleaning lady. We were a bit early and had to wait for the host to check us in, and how this cleaning woman greeted/treated us was unnecessarily unfriendly, hostile almost. Not a great start.

the host doesn’t get messages from the booking app/website, which wasn’t that big of a deal but it slowed our check in a little. The ants are quick to get on any food left out over a minute, which also wasn’t a huge problem but worth mentioning

I liked the location and the brightness of the apartment. he was very pleasant.

we did not have a sea view yet there were not many people in the building. We booked a double bed and the bed was split in two, it was not pleasant to sleep as a couple.

The room was spotless and every day we had clean towels. The staff was willing to help. The apartment is very near to buss station in case you want to go to another location. Prefere to use Uber during your staying instead of local busses because the cost from the apartment to the old town was approximately 45hrk.

The house has a nice patio.

The host was very accommodating in terms of the check-in time. She was also kind enough to give a quick summary about the places to visit in Dubrovnik and how to reach them. We had the ground-floor apartment, which did not have any view. But it was quite well equipped in terms of the facilities.

The sofa-bed was a bit short for people over 172-175 cm.

We stayed for 3days at Apartments Villa karmen and really everything was as excellent..Our apartment looked excactly the same as on the photos. The location was top,you can walk upto oldtown and beach or take a bus just down the road.cleaniless was top, the host herself (lvanna)was welcoming and professional,.I will give it a 10/10.

Clean and lovely apartment with two bedrooms. It is super easy to walk around and the port is close by. the bus station is 5 min. away and you can drive around for an hour, to the sunset Beach or Old Town (15 kuna).

The location of the apartment was perfect. 3 min walk to the port and about 7 mins to the main bus station. The actual bus stop to get to the old town was 3 mins away as it's on the road right by the ferry port. We used the ferry and bus a lot during our stay and it was so convenient. The host was great and communication was easy.

Upon making my reservation with the property I was double charged for the apartment. I raised this directly with the apartment hosts who first advised this did not happen until I sent evidence. They advised me that the money would be refunded in 2 days. This did not happen. I continued to contact them and was told I would just have to wait, 7 days had passed and I had not received my refunded. The manager was very rude and dismissive. In the end I had to contact my bank who refunded me the money. When I arrived at the property, the apartment was well presented however it was infested with ants causing us to leave early as we were getting bit in our sleep. I believe this host is a scam & had no intention to refund the money. Currently, my mother is still waiting for her cancellation fee to be refunded & it has now been two weeks. I do not recommend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good communicariin , very easy proces and all. Parking was great and free. Property is well maintained. The airco works great . All in all a good place to stay a few days in Dubrovnik

The pillows in the bedroom were not our thing (though we realise that different people prefer different pillows) Also small nitpick was that there were many small hairs in the bedsheets

Very large rooms and a great garage for parking. Easy bus ride into Old City, near the port of Gruz. Wonderful hostess, Ivorna, who explained bus system and gave us an orientation to the town.
