We had a beautiful week in Stirling and what made it even more special was this beautiful home. Everything was clean, neat and it felt like home. We will definately stay here again!

Lovely old stone house at the foot of the castle. Spacious and comfortable. Generous rooms and all you need is there for you Small kitchen though.

Easy communication with the host and lovely house in excellent location. Slightly older furnishings in some rooms as described but very comfortable and clean.

Location was great. Road closure to property made getting to it a little tricky at first. Would have liked better directions directing us around the construction. Within walking distance to city centre and some attractions. Loved looking out over the “King’s Knot”, and great view for sunsets. Thank you Alison for sharing your home.

This home was exactly as described and perfect for our group. The location was near Stirling Castle and other sites we wanted to see. Alison was a great host. She was very responsive to our questions before and during our stay.

This property is an amazing neighborhood with an easy walk to all of Stirling's many attractions, and great views across the countryside. The house is full of character and there's plenty of room for the whole family. Everything you need for a great stay is provided and the check-in was very straightforward.

We had an amazing time and I can’t say enough about the property beneath the Stirling Castle, nor our host, Alison!! The town of Stirling is a fabulous place and very fun, peaceful and safe!! We would definitely return to Stirling and this wonderful home!

Only 10 mins walk to shops and Castle. Lovely open spaces near the property to take beautiful walks. Very tranquil.

Bedrooms were large, maIn bathroom was excellent, however to get in and out of the tub, a hand rail would be good. The downstairs bathroom is only good if you are going to take a bath, shower too close to the wall and very low. The heating system was hard to figure out, it would off during the day and then it would get really hot at night. No instructions on how to solve these issues. Overall, the home was great.

It is quiet and peaceful and yet Stirling town is only a 15 minute walk away. Or you can enjoy a climb through a lovely wood at the end of the road to the area of the castle....almost a daily walk for us. Stirling is a very picturesque town and interesting history, especially the castle and the Wallace Monument, highly recommended. Beautiful countryside, particularly the Lochs, Earn and Tay. A perfect and beautiful house to stay in for our family holiday in Scotland. A great base for exploring Stirling and close to lots of other places too for day trips. The house is just lovely, very spacious and has everything you could need for a stay away from home. Alison was an excellent host and provided lots of helpful information. We fell in love with the place!

The property was beautiful and very accommodating. Plenty of space for the family and enough kitchen utensils available to be able to cook for a family of six.

The house is in a great location, close to the town centre but also with easy access to the surrounding area. The accommodation was clean and spacious and well equipped with all we needed. Alison was a great host and ensured that we had an enjoyable stay.

The house is in an excellent location. City centre and countryside are just a few minutes away. The house is spacious and easily accommodates 6 people and a dog without feeling on top of each other. Local ammenities are excellent and being able to have off road parking is a bonus. Will definitely be our first port of call for when we want to return to Stirling again.

We had a wonderful stay here. Lots of room for the family to spread out. Had everything we needed from toilet paper, dish washing tablets, washing powder etc. Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon ready to go. Really came in handy for rainy days. Everything was clean and comfortable and felt like a real home away from home. Would definitely stay here again!
