spacious, modern and very clean rooms with balcony over the ocean

everything was great

We picked this hotel due to the Sea views and the nearby tram (the Mazzarro cable car - called Funivia) that takes you up to town. While the tram was not working, there was a bus instead and it was easy to use. The view of Isola Bella was stunning; the hotel was beautiful on the inside; the breakfast was great, and you can walk to restaurants nearby without going up into Taormina town if you want. Its a quick walk (nearby set of stairs) to get to the beach where there are restaurants and great places for spritzes or other drinks. Would stay here again in a second. I would pay for a higher-floor room. The view was still terrific and it was not too noisy but we had a room on the first floor. Still loved it though.

This is silly since the breakfast is so great, but runny eggs are not my thing; would have loved them cooked more. But really, I could not believe the diversity of foods for breakfast, and the cappuccinos were the best I had in Sicily.

Exceptionnal view from room and rooftop terrace. In the quiet area of Mazzaro but very close to funicular (which unfortunately did not work when we were there but replaced by a shuttle bus) . Nice helpful staff. Room clean, nice balcony.

The view was great and the staff was excellent. Couldn’t beat the location for the beach.

The WiFi was not great in our room, and we were unable to lower the temperature in our room and it stayed too warm for us. The cable cars were down in the city, so that made us rely on the busses which did not run very late and required us to walk down so many steps to get back to the hotel from the city at night. Not the hotels fault but something to consider if you want to spend a lot of time downtown

I liked how close it was to Isola Bella , at the same time it makes it somewhat far from Taormina, great views , helpful staff , breakfast was excellent. service was great and they were on top of things .

it’s a busy street in front of it so people can be loud , car noises etc . parking was challenging but we manage to park on the street . no free water .. just a little something that makes a big difference..

Dream location, cleanliness, amazing pool, fantastic, dedicated staff : Both Gabriele’s:-)!!! Breakfast was by far the best we have had in Sicily! We will be back!

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the views from the hotel were magnificent. I guess that’s why they call it Panoramic!

A clean modern hotel, with wonderful views of the sea and Isola Bella. Ideal location for visiting the old town with the cable car close by. The restaurant with fantastic views offers a huge selection of choices for breakfast. A lovely naturally heated rooftop pool with poolside bar and of course, Gabriele, who was excellent at looking after us. There is a small secure garaged parking area ideal for our motorcycle. We would like to thank the bar,restaurant and housekeeping teams, the reception staff Carmelo , Dani and Andrew who were always very friendly, approachable, helpful (oh and great guardians of the Goldwing ! ) for helping make our experience at The Panoramic a wonderful one.

Proximity to the road

The location of the hotel was amazing, with literal panoramic views of Isola Bella, which was only a 5 minute walk away. The team even prepared us a takeaway breakfast for the day of our departure when we had an early start.

Some of the staff were amazing and helpful, while others were cold and less welcoming. The facilities were quite old and dated. It was difficult to get to town at times, especially when the cable car was busy.

We visited for our honeymoon and it was incredible. Gabrielle was amazing!
