The security, location and facilities are great.

Bed was not comfortable (it had a mattress cover but it was smaller than the mattress itself), very basically equipped kitchen (no kettle!!), poor soundproofing in the building (you could hear sounds from the corridor as well as other floors), check-in machine would not encode the other key so we had to get help with that

No breakfast, it was ángel apartamento. The locación was good.

A well designed apartment that makes efficient use of space. Spacious bathroom with good shower. Effective heating. Pleasant view over adjacent parkland. Quiet location.

Very few drawbacks. Coffee maker does not come as standard in the kitchen (but available on request).

A big, clean and open room at a good position in the city. Like I wanted it had a kitchen fully equiped so i was able to cook my own food.

The matress was a bit uncomfortable and the trash didn`t have seperate cans to recycle inside the apartment

A special bonus of this appartment was access to a locked video surveilled bike storage room - really useful if you are one of the many bike fanatics that come to Girona to enjoy the great road- and mountain bike opportunities this area has to offer. In addition there was a very nice underground parking lot that could be rented at a reasonable extra fee.

The beds are of good quality but they are hard. If you have problems with lower back pain, as I have, you might want to find another alternative. I suffered from a sore back for a couple of weeks after sleeping 12 nights at Els Quimics. Unfortunately for this reason I probably won't go back to this place even if it was situated very close to my family in the town and featured a great storage room for my expensive MTB. However I suspect that most people will find the beds to be OK. The kitchen is not well equipped - this could be improved with a very modest investment.

Great double glazed windows, they easily switch off external public noise. Special mention to Veronica for being an ACE staff. She's very professional and organised.

The bed needs a soft topper to resolve the issue of the seriously uncomfortable mattress. It's solid! The owners need to really consider this and think of those who have taken a long journey by car/train.

The apartment was in a nice residential area. This was very suitable for us as it was 2 minutes from our relatives. It is very near bus stops so easy to go to "the old town". The supermarket and nice bars minutes away.

Very helpful on reception, pleasant and friendly. The room clean - important at this time. It is not in the tourist area but suitable for our needs. Near enough (15 mins walk) to train station for travel. Nice park opposite.. Near a good supermarket and restaurants.

Bit of a walk to old town (tourist area) if going for a holiday yet advantage is supermarkets and restaurants cheaper here so worth the walk. Taxis reasonable too. Nice area. Good vibe.
